Family-friendly holiday rentals in Balkans

Every part of our stay was exceptional! Nektarios was friendly, helpful with suggestions for anything we needed, and responsive. The unit is more beautiful than the pictures, the views are stunning, and the privacy was wonderful. Just a few minutes to walk to town for all the restaurants and shopping. The deck was wonderful to relax on and waking to the view every morning was amazing. If we visit Naxos again, this is where we would hope to stay! It is PERFECT!

A+ booking. Dimitri was the best host we have ever had. He arranged all our transportation around Santorini including pick up and drop off at the airport and the ferry port. He had a ton of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. He helped book our catamaran tour around the island of Santorini which is a recommendation he had. The home itself is exactly how it looks in the pictures online. They almost seem too good to be true but they are 100% accurate. The balcony has an unobstructed view of the oia sunset which my wife and I watched every night we stayed there. The property is right at the top of the stairs that lead down to Ammoudi bay. So there is no hike up and down stairs when trying to walk back to the home. The location is perfect. It’s near so many restaurants and shops. The home is very private. A lot of these homes can have a nice view but people can also see you when on your balcony. We watched the sunset from our hot tub on our balcony. Great price. 10/10

We stayed here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, our first holiday without the children! We could not have picked a better place ☺️ The apartment was spotless with the most incredible view across the sea from the leafy veranda and hot tub, so romantic ❤️ And loads of little touches in both the kitchen and bathroom, plus a comfy bed and effective air con 😅 Gina was so responsive and helpful with all my questions before we even arrived and gave loads of recommendations & met us there. The location is great, about a 40 minute walk or an easy direct bus trip to the old town from right by the apartment, we walked it most days cause we’re quite active. We were so happy we stayed outside the old town cause it was very busy with tourists and expensive, and by the port where we were was much quieter and a beautiful view. I was so happy we picked this place as it really was what made our stay in Dubrovnik perfect, I would recommend to everyone. Thanks guys!x

It was a great place to stay! Full kitchen, 2 beds with their own bathrooms and a half bath for guests. Plenty of space inside and out. Plus he has a sound system with both indoor and outdoor speakers. This is one villa he uses as an AirBnB out of three on that street, each one has its own electric gate along with a main gate to gain access to all three. The area is private and relatively quiet and clean. This was my second time back to Mykonos and my third time in Greece. I would 100% stay here again or in one of the other villas he owns.

The view is stunning both day and night. The apartment is clean and they refresh it each day. The hosts are responsive and proactive with a long list of local recommendations. They have clear communication and are very friendly. We do recommend renting a car or ATV, the hill is steep and it’s a lot easier to explore the island this way. The hot tub was great, we used it everyday and it definitely enhances the experience. This is a great place to stay, highly recommend.

What a find. This area is less touristy but has all you need. Amazing restaurants, view points, car and buggy rentals. The house it self is as described. Perfect! We cooked dinner and ate on the terrace during sunsets, no bugs. Many friendly people around. All you need for coffee is provided. Cooking utensils and pans were good enough. Found I needed an extra bowl but as luck would have it there was a local market that was selling beautiful bowls. Also there is Maria market that had all the necessities. Be ware of things that don’t have a price. Over all we had an amazing stay and our host was very prompt, kind and responsive!

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing home in Oia! Laskarina was a fantastic host who communicated very well and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and tours. The house is beautiful with stunning views, and the location could not be better, right on the main street surrounded by restaurants and charming stores. Despite being in the heart of all the activity, the home felt completely private. The hot tub is private as well and offers an incredible view. The balcony is spacious and the perfect spot to sit and take in the scenery. The home is a short walk to the blue domes picture spot as well as the sunset spots. Highly recommend staying here!

The house is literally right at the water. The final drive down to the house is extremely steep, and with a larger vehicle it was a challenge to turn the car around. We became pros at this about halfway through our 15-night stay!! With only three of us in the house, we had plenty of room. We thoroughly enjoyed the two living rooms (first and second levels). We also enjoyed the multiple decks to sit out and enjoy the water sounds. We used the outside table by the pool a few times and appreciated the extra shade provided by the electric awning. The pool was a bit cold for us, but we did use it. The lichen had everything we needed, which we appreciated. The house far exceeded our expectations!! Rania was very helpful, as she provided great suggestions for restaurants, activities, etc.

Very clean and modern accommodation with a sensational view over the beautiful Calabrian surroundings. Daniela and Pietro are charming hosts and easy to reach for any questions. Upon arrival, a delicious apple pie and a good wine were already waiting for us, and honey, jam, cereals and fresh eggs from the chicken coop were waiting for our first breakfast. The fruit that grows around the house is delicious and definitely worth trying. The peace and quiet in the mountains is priceless, and it's wonderful to read a book in the shade of the olive trees. Badolato is just a quick drive away, or you can treat yourself to a walk through the beautiful vegetation and steep terraces. The crystal-clear pool water will give you the necessary kick of freshness during warm days. We love that place and extended our stay because we already felt home after seconds. Thank you for your hospitality!

Milos was a fantastic host, very friendly and welcoming, and flexible regarding the check-in and -out times. His brother even brought us to the location with his own car, since I don’t drive, which was really great. The Old Mill is such a gem, it’s very authentic and the views from the balcony are just breathtaking, especially at the sunset. The pool area and the garden are also a very unique and a beautiful addition to the whole experience. Having a car is advisable, but if you don’t drive (like myself) there are local drivers, which will bring you to wherever you wish for a reasonable price.

It was a fantastic place, in the heart of AntiParos. Lots of restaurants and bars around. The house is a gem, full of design details - oh my god the bathroom is so pretty!

We had a brilliant stay at trulli del Bosco. Giulia was easy to contact and made us feel very welcome and at home. The hut is something else, offering a serene setting in the countryside but still within 10 minutes drive of alberobello. It was really beautiful and we really enjoyed the stay and the delicious breakfast with local produce. One thing to note is due to the remoteness of the area there is only one restaurant nearby within walking distance which is not open every night however this just meant we had to use the car and plan ahead. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting puglia!

We will never forget our first trip to Italy and the views from this beautiful property will forever be imprinted in our memories. If you are looking for an authentic experience away from tourists and crowds, but surrounded by beauty, this is your place. Michele is an incredible host who will tirelessly answer your questions, anticipate your needs and make arrangements to ensure you get the full experience. We had a wonderful stay at the Stone House. The view was absolutely beautiful and was lovely to be able to sit out and watch the sun set. Lovely walks from the house, views fron the top by the Church were fantastic. The stone house had everything we needed and was cool on the hotter days. Being animal lovers we very much enjoyed seeing the animals and how well they are cared for the whole team do an amazing job! We would love to return! Thank you very much Sandy!

The house is just perfect! Helen and Nick were very friendly hosts. The house is just like the pictures and even better. It was very warm and comfy. The kitchen fully equipped, they had even breakfast food waiting for us. The surroundings are very peaceful and private, the view is breathtaking. You have the view to the lake from both the bedroom and the living room. We enjoyed having our breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in front of the fireplace in the night! We will surely return. Super grateful for the hospitality to Helen and Nick

If I could give these hosts 10 stars I would. Faye is amazing! She organized everything for us: setting up transport from the ferry to the cave, she set up a boat tour for us and she got us transportation back to the airport. She would have booked us dinner reservations too if we wanted her to. She’s amazing. We have traveled all over Europe and she by far has been the best host. I accidentally left my hanging clothes in the closet, and Dimitri drove them to the airport for us. We would have missed our flight if we had to go back and grab them. Thank you so much. You all are wonderful!

Great communicative host, beautiful house - the pictures don’t do it justice!

We needed our own space for a family trip. It was an excellent choice. Sergio was kind, and he communicated comfortably and quickly, so I was very comfortable from check-in to check-out. It's a great place to stay for a warm and peaceful moment in southern Italy, a little away from everyday life!

Anna’s place is truly special. A great location to see everything on your list in Puglia. You will be blown away at how photos don’t do the property and rooms justice.

I can’t say enough about how great of a host Petros is, and how great of a place this was to stay. The place is as beautiful as it looks in the listing photos. Incredible view, incredible outdoor space, and warm and welcoming indoor space. The property is a little bit further outside of the town than we would have wanted to walk - I’d recommend renting a car or scooter if you stay here. With a vehicle you can be in the center of town in about 5 minutes. Petros is a perfect host - always available if you need him, friendly and helpful, and ready to provide great recommendations for food and activities all over the island. I highly recommend staying at this place.

We stayed for just under a week in this beautiful cave, it was amazing! The private pool was the highlight, and the balcony! Great if you want to switch off, we hired a car and would defo recommend doing so, Balos beach is a 30 min drive, an amazing restaurant 30 seconds down the road from the cave - it was perfect :)) our host was helpful and responsive, we would recommend this place highly! The villa is a gem. The views are unbelievable, the peacefulness was amazing and there are not enough words for the amount of help Diana gave us. Diana waited for us with fruit, charcuterie board, drinks and home made pastry. She set up all the transportation we requested and gave us suggestions of things to do. She even brought us flour at 9:00 pm so we can make crepes. The only thing that you can’t do is walk to places. So, if you are a walker and want a lot of things to do all day, you might want to pick a different villa. We spent time enjoying the views and peacefulness and had time to go sightseeing.
