Waterfront holiday rentals in Assendelft

Our second time at Sebastian’s wonderful Airbnb. This location is perfect as it’s quiet and yet very near the busier sections of town. Sebastian is a terrific host and everything is as described. He is very friendly and makes sure all is well:-) You will not find a better property !

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

The accommodation was as described and Karine allowed us to change the arrival time The apartment on the 1st is nice and a breakfast was ready in the fridge. A supermarket and transport are nearby Only downside: the sofa bed was broken, fortunately it was children who slept in it.

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

We had a great stay all around! The place was great – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. The location is absolutely top: central, but still quiet, so you can both explore the city and relax. We would like to emphasise the owner – very friendly, helpful and always approachable. You feel welcome right away. Clear recommendation!

Perfect location. You are in the middle of the hustle and bustle and still have a small terrace out the back with absolute peace. Everything was well maintained. We were very enthusiastic and Ivar responded immediately to questions. Thank you

We were traveling by bike and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly hostess. Thank you very much for this great start to the day. We felt totally comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

Nice place, on a quiet and dead-end street. Nice host. The cottage is small, but very clean, quiet and pleasant.

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The house was the same as in the photos – very clean, cozily furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We particularly enjoyed the view of the water, which really made the stay special. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly and we felt welcome from the beginning. Small extras such as a welcome greeting and local tips were also a nice surprise. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend this house!

After a long day in Amsterdam, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in Broek in Waterland at Haico's. The house is cozy and offers everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a clean shower and a well-equipped kitchen where we could prepare our breakfast and make small meals such as pasta or sandwiches in the evening. The location is ideal for getting to Amsterdam quickly, and the bus connection is very good.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. However, our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

Location is perfect, place is nice and roomy, steps and hallway are a bit narrow but was totally fine for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Cute cafe nearby for breakfast. Host was great as well. Lots of good recommendations!!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

We were greeted by Remy in person and he showed us the apartment and explained the operation of the hot tub. He also gave us recommendations for the area. We were always able to reach him by message and he was very helpful. The apartment and the hot tub are very private, so you feel comfortable. In addition, the accommodation was super clean and fresh flowers set pleasant accents.
