Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Alster

We stayed in Hamburg for 7 days and were allowed to stay with Alex. The apartment is in a sugar sweet settlement with beautiful brick houses. Directly in the yard of the settlement is a small playground. This was ideal for our 2 kids. The decor on the pictures in the ad no longer quite matches the current state. They might need to be updated:) We were very satisfied as a family with 2 kids. The 6 year old daughter didn't want to do anything, just stay in Alex's daughter's room and craft ;) For our little daughter, Alex organized a travel crib from the neighbor without hesitation. The best thing about the apartment is the location. We loved the ski area. You can walk to the S-Bahn in a few minutes. Within walking distance there are some supermarkets and bakeries. A playground is also around the corner. Alex was always available immediately and really super personable and nice.

Thank you again for welcoming us. If you are planning to go to Hamburg with your family, this house is the best choice. The description fully matches what you will find on site. I was for approx. 2 weeks in David´s apartment. I know Hamburg already very well, so it is a perfect area for a stay in this beautiful city and the apartment is also in a beautiful house on the top with a perfect view around. The spacy balcony would be lovely for warmer times. I was there in Dec. / Jan.. The apartment itself is also very spacy with nice furnisher. Communication with David was quick, friendly and on the point. Thanks for the hospitality.

It was a super uncomplicated communication. The house was the same as in the pictures and in a great condition with great furnishings and a super nice garden. The highlight is the hot tub. It was a real stroke of luck .

A much-needed respite after traveling in the heat. The folks at the front desk were so nice and helpful when it came time to check in and out, and even were happy to help my sister finalize her Taylor Swift Eras Tour outfit in a pinch! All in all a really welcoming and comfortable stay. Hooray for air conditioning!

Staying with Tiziana and Henning was something very special to us and a very typical experience for the old country. The property is located on an old farm in central York. From there you can get to all the sights in the old country and in the surrounding area. Our host were very friendly and very helpful. The place was very tasteful and clean. From the very first moment, I could feel welcome and like at home. In the house you’ll always feel cozy, and it is kept in a perfect order. My private room had a great size with magnificent views to the greenery surrounding the house. The house has a great location to enter the parks, take runs or bicycle rides, to go to the golf course. It takes some time to get to the city center, but the public transport connections are really smooth. The hosts are wonderful to communicate and absolutely supportive in all aspects necessary for the guests to feel like at home.

The place was great - clean, quiet and with beautiful views. For a few days to wind down and enjoy nature, the surroundings of this property are great.

For us, it was important to have "peace," which is absolutely true here. The property is large, parking right in front of the apartment which was well equipped with the essentials. Also not with as much decoration as you usually find. There were two of us, so we had a lot of space (there were four beds). Supermarkets are 3 km away. You can ride a bike a lot here (Elbe, etc.), rental not so far away, which also brings the bikes. Tip also came from Thilo, who always responded quickly to inquiries. All around, we felt very comfortable, pure relaxation to escape the big city life. We say thank you for the lovely stay.

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Hamburg, and a significant part of that was thanks to Kathrin, our fantastic host. Kathrin is incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house itself is nothing short of delightful – it's not only clean and cozy but also perfectly matches the pictures provided in the listing. The attention to detail in every corner of the house creates a charming and inviting atmosphere. Staying at Kathrin’s place was a truly enjoyable experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hospitable place to stay in Hamburg.

This was the best stay I had in Europe, first of all I got there late, the host couple were very welcoming and friendly, the room was very clean and made me feel like home, the whole second floor was very private with bright and clean everything, it was very nice and I will definitely come back here again
