Camille’s retreat is a true oasis, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the day. Even when relaxing inside, you feel as if you are in the middle of the garden thanks to the large and plentiful windows surrounding you. The only sounds we heard were the birds, who were also enjoying garden. Camille is welcoming and kind and has truly created a serene and lovely space fo repose. we absolutely loved Chantelise's cottage. It was our first flight with our 7 month old and the space was perfect. Our son lived the micro farm. Such a beautiful space. We will be visiting again!

Victoria’s little cottage was a comfortable and cozy hidden gem! In a great location with some incredibly cute and friendly dogs. We were in town looking for housing as it was a peaceful place to unwind after long days of house hunting! Thank you Victoria for your friendliness and hospitality. Charming, Well Appointed, Cottage Behind the main house, past a pathway strewn with various projects-in-the-works, as well as lush greens, is a delightful hideaway. Inside, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining area, which opens on to a living area with a large TV, and a DVD player with a very nice collection of films. The separate room had a very comfortable bed, excellent lighting, a bureau and closet, and a bathroom with a pleasant shower, and very nice towels. Liberal use of skylights brightens the cottage (but if you want less light the skylights are easily covered, controlled by a convenient wall switch.) The quality of products (kitchen and bathroom) is first rate. Although small, everything just works. There’s not a lot of extra room for anything. One needs some creativity to find space for luggage, or to find desk space for a computer. Totally worth it though. We’ll come again.

Had a wonderful stay with my four-year-old daughter for my birthday. The location is lovely, being able to walk down to college Avenue. We got in quite late, I would recommend asking host to turn on the heat if you think you might come in on the later side- the radiant floors are lovely but do take some time to heat up. Great artistic touches and hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Andrea's apartment is compact but beautifully appointed. I was working in San Francisco, and having the beauty, convenience and peacefulness of Marin County was well worth the 25 minutes. Whole Foods is a couple of blocks away, and the richness of 4th street restaurants and shops make this the perfect pied-a-terre. Thanks Andrea!

Jill’s place is fabulous. The deck overlooking the creek is even more beautiful and relaxing than we expected. A wonderful base for exploring Marin county, San Francisco, Point Reyes National Seashore and beyond. We would love to come back!

Very clean, quiet neighborhood, and had everything we needed! Would be happy to stay again.

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

David‘s place was lovely. We really loved the backyard as it was very tranquil and very beautifully landscaped. If it hadn’t been such a windy week, we would have spent lots of time out there. The inside of that place was lovely and comfortable. David was a very nice host and very helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet, private, and secure with a beautiful view overlooking the Bay with the Richmond bridge in the distance. Be aware of a steep driveway if you drive a manual transmission (well-maintained and not too long, but steep). Easy parking and a short walk partway down the driveway to a well-appointed cottage, very separate from the main house. Just right for a solo refreshment of spirit or a romantic getaway.

The Casita in the Trees was the perfect getaway and Melodie and family were amazing hosts. The space has a very nice layout, the kitchen and other rooms are lovely with charming ambiance and thoughtfully stocked, you have everything you need and more. The soft morning birdsong was so pretty amongst the oak trees, the view is spectacular, and Melodie was such a thoughtful and kind host. I would absolutely recommend!

The bathhouse is incredible! I’m an Airbnb superhost of 2 properties and I’ve stayed in Airbnbs globally. This is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! It’s gorgeous and serene. The jacuzzi under the redwood is incredible. It had everything I needed to feel right at home. I walked into the town of Mill Valley which is picturesque, has great shopping and amazing food. I highly recommend!

It was amazing. The scenery was beautiful! The trails were great, check out the one behind the stage at the park up the road. Sarah mentioned it to us and it was well worth the little walk!

Loved my stay! It was the perfect home base while exploring the Bay Area. Felt super safe—especially as a woman traveling alone—to be behind the main house, a locked gate, and with my own personalized entrance code. The space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved staying here, and would recommend this space to anyone who wants a unique and quiet space to stay in a really lovely part of town. It is worth mentioning that this space comes with some well communicated restrictions on sound during certain hours so make sure to read the listing closely before booking.

Quiet lower level apartment with plenty of amenities. I loved the location to my job site and it was 1/4 mile to an extensive trail running system that I fully enjoyed. The kitchen was pre-stocked with the basics to get started on any meal and the Wolf convection oven was wonderful to use as I had brought my own homemade sourdough bread. I had plenty of space to set up my computer and work yet it was a quick drive down from the hills to meet colleagues in town for dinner. Other reviewers found the apartment chilly (which I loved), however, I noted several small built-in electric heaters that would have quickly warmed up the rooms. And I didn't use the laundry room, however, for a longer stay that would have been very convenient. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely bottle of local wine too!

My husband spent two nights at Nanci’s cottage (I was unable to go with him). He shared with me the place was spotless, private, quiet, well-appointed, in a great area with lots of walkable restaurants and coffee shops, very comfortable for sleep, and had a beautiful garden with wildflowers near the cottage entrance. It was a perfect spot for him. Highly recommended for a solo traveler or for a cozy couple. Would definitely consider again next time we’re in Oakland.

it was exactly as described and it had exactly what we needed. felt like being home, nice and quite neighborhood. very confortable bed abd pillos is a must for me and it was just like that! I really enjoyed staying there and would recommend it.

Surfers outlook is a beautiful spot. The studio had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Carey was a fantastic host. The view was amazing, we loved exploring the town, and had a great vacation. All the five star reviews and photos still don’t do it justice - you really just have to see for yourself! Highly recommend.
