This is a very conveniently located house, near the restaurants and shops of Solano Avenue and the Albany Hill Park, and very close to the Albany entrances to the freeways. The front of the house looks over the freeway to the bay with vistas to Marin, the Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco. While it is very close to the roads, the house is well sound-proofed. The bedrooms are especially quiet. The house is clean and recently renovated. All in all a good value.

Nina hosted us during a very trying time; relocating to Berkeley/Albany area while selling our home of 35 yrs & looking for a new home here. She couldn’t have been kinder, more accommodating or friendly. The little green gem is truly a comfy & pleasant place to stay, even long term. We were there over 3 months thanks to Nina’s warmth & flexibility. The location right off Solano Ave is easy for shopping, eating out or just strolling. The well equipped kitchen makes preparing meals easy. Nina is full of information about the area. She is respectful of your space but always available for any question. The peaceful gardens surrounding the bright & well appointed little cottage soothed us and made our stay just perfect. Thank you, Nina for having us for so long. Eugenia’s place and Eugenia and her husband are fantastic… One of the most comfortable organic cotton beds I’ve ever slept on, the most enchanting, beautiful property, and every appliance state of the art, efficient and intentional with the touch of love. Eugenia brought me teas, and various unconventional items I asked for. And the natural light and airflow were wonderful. And very healing and the most peaceful and healing neighborhood I’ve stayed at in the East Bay. For anyone looking for a healing retreat, Book this place as soon as possible

Ruby's place is exactly as advertised - very comfortably appointed, walkable to some of my favorite spots in Berkeley, and the private garden seating area just outside the double-kitchen doorway was simply beautiful. I will definitely stay here again when back in the area!
