Holiday rentals with a patio in Windermere

We had a really great stay with our young baby. The apartment was really spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to Bowness. We would love to stay again.

This is a beautiful flat with a lovely view towards the Lake District hills. Quiet area, all amenities that you would need, and more, and lovely furnishings. The hosts are extra-attentive - birthday decorations and a gift&card we’re waiting for me, as my birthday fell on one of the days we stayed. Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay in Bowness.

Fantastic stay, great location in the heart of Ambleside. The apartment was super clean and felt light and airy. Tv in the living room and bedroom was a great addition after a day of walking and wanting to chill in bed which was very comfy. The hosts gave lots of recommendations through their very useful guide book and were on top form with their communication.

Fantastic stay. Beautifully put together and great location. Friendly host. Great for groups coming to enjoy the Lake District. Not difficult to find as some of the reviews suggest!

We really enjoyed our stay at Laurel. The apartment is beautifully renovated and well laid out. For the most part it is well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed watching the baby deer in the field each morning. 5 min drive away there’s an amazing artisan bakery and an ice cream shop. For guests with younger children there’s also a fantastic play park at Staveley. We had a couple of problems (missing travel cot on arrival, hot water turned off a couple of times) but the host was friendly and extremely quick to respond.

We had a fantastic stay at Janette’s! The flat was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The small enclosed courtyard was also perfect for our dog. Broughton itself is a beautiful village - bakery, butchers & pubs nearby. We’d definitely love to come back and would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Had a brilliant stay, was met by Kevin to check in, he was very informative and couldn’t offer enough advice/guidance. Vikki was very responsive during communications and always very respectful and clear. The place itself is amazing, very spacious, clean and you get plenty of towels, cutlery etc. The hot tub is very well kept and smart. The hosts are there if you need anything but leave you to total privacy. The view from the back is outstanding and we had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We had the best time staying here as a family of 5. Firstly the house is absolutely beautifully done (and spotless) and the space works so well for either a family or friends on a trip. The garden is stunning too! We were very impressed with all the instructions left for us, everything was so clear and easy to use. The location is superb, a very easy walk down to the restaurants, and shops and we also enjoyed the longer walks that were recommended by Cassius! We look forward to returning again in the future!

It is a beautiful house tucked around the corner from the main street. clear instructions left in the lounge of the house and local places to eat, walk etc. facilities were great and clean. couple of minutes to walk to the local shops, pubs etc and parking off the main road was a great feature. would happily stay again and recommend - does have a few creaky floor boards but adds to the houses character.

Fabulous home from home, within walking distance of the town, great local pubs with top class food. Lots of Bus routes to some great places and beautiful walks, what a great place many thanks for letting us stay

This is just a stunning place - situated in a beautiful valley with views of the far mountains. House was full of character, all amenities we wanted were there, and just loved being able to walk from the house.

We have just returned home from 4 nights at Julie's ex-guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. We were a group of 5 adults, a 9 year old and 18 month old and there was space for all of us. Each room has its own ensuite and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was very clean and the utility room is also massive which helps if you need to do any washing while staying there. We will definitely look to use Julie's place again in the future. Julie replied in good time to any messages and is very friendly. Highly recommend as a great place to get around the Lakes from too.

Really comfortable cottage, very well equipped in a great location. Easy to get to local attractions and great walks from the door. Close enough to visit the lakes but far enough away from hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend.

The flat was lovely, beautifully kitted out and with some interesting lighting features! There was lots of space inside. We appreciated being able to stay a bit longer before checking out so we could have a planned zoom meeting. Thank you for being accommodating.

We went for a short break and it was lovely! The house was perfect for chilling out after a long day. Kitchen had a lot of things we needed and plenty of things to do even in the home! Perfect location, both towns either side of us with lots of options to eat and all within walking distance too. We were so glad we were able to stay here and hoping to be back soon! An absolutely amazing stay, Adrian and Stefania were so welcoming and even hung up some decorations for my partners birthday as we went up to celebrate! Such a friendly couple and so informative and attentive by alerting us when there were interesting animals in the gardens to see. Just all round fantastic experience and the annexe was so stunning and felt right at home 🫶🏻 Most definitely would go again! ☺️

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

This was an overnight stop-off while driving from Cornwall to Scotland. Place was quiet, clean, close to everything we needed and David was quick to respond with answers to questions I had. Was able to check in late (around 8:30pm after hitting bad traffic). Perfect for what we needed.

A lovely break in Kirkby Lonsdale for half term. Great apartment with everything we needed and super clean.

This is the perfect getaway if you want friendly hosts, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and clean and comfortable accommodation. Julie and Paul are brilliant hosts, making us feel welcome and at home straight away. The accommodation had everything we needed (including a cork screw for the bottle of wine!). The shower was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommended!

This was my first time taking my granny away from Belfast and she couldn’t have been happier with this place: it was like a home away from home. It was absolutely spotless, comfortable and beautiful. Only a short walk from Blackpools main town centre, it’s in an excellent location. Nic was a 10/10 host, responding to all my queries and concerns. I couldn’t recommend this place more!
