The open top tour bus runs from the bottom of the road. We welcome families and are always on hand to share information.

The Mount is a newly refurbished stylish apartment that is part of No 10 Mount Pleasant, a former private girls finishing school. Mount Pleasant and The Mount building is over 200 years old. Situated in Kendal town centre (there's a two minute walk down the hill into town) the Mount is surrounded by local greens and parkland and to the west of the building boasts a beautiful golf course, fell and woodland for keen walkers. Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
