Das Beste kommt bekanntlich zum Schluss und endlich ist auch unsere letztes Apartments fertig. Apartment Petersfehn liegt uns ganz besonders am Herzen. Ursprünglich hatten wir gehofft möglichst viel vom rustikalen Flair erhalten zu können. Leider hat uns die bauliche Substanz einen gehörigen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Um so glücklicher sind wir, dass der Mittelpunkt dieses Schmuckstücks, der alte Kamin, erhalten bleibt. Er bildet das Zentrum eines modernen, gemütlichen Apartments.

Hof von Donnerschwee / Helene apartment

The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

This gorgeous, fully equipped non-smoking apartment (84 sqm / fully renovated 2012) is easily located in the basement feeling (completely with daylight) in a listed villa (built 1910) in the Ziegelhofviertel. It offers plenty of space for 2 people (plus sofa bed in the living room + a comfortable extra bed for one person each = 4 persons). Very tastefully furnished with all the comforts of a modern apartment you live here in the heart of Oldenburg!

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

On the shore of our natural pond is our cozy wooden house. It is reminiscent of a vacation in Sweden… to top off this flair, you can relax in the in-house sauna and forget the stress of everyday life. We live together with two dogs in a secluded location on the edge of a small forest. Ideal for cycling enthusiasts. From here you can start great tours through the Ammerland!
