Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Western North Carolina

Our family of three plus a couple extended family members stayed here for a wedding and it was the best fit! Not only close to the venue and downtown Maryville but a lovely house. Our favorite parts were the sunroom, finished basement apartment which was a great place for our little family to stay and our son to nap, ample parking, and a dog-friendly house. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or have their own space. We would definitely stay here again!

We booked with Ian last second due to our previous airbnb not being ready and the hot tub was broken… Ian was quick in action to have cleaners get to the house before we finished biltmore, the house was beautiful and very clean, we enjoyed the privacy his house had to offer! This property we stayed at was by far the best house and the cleanest of all properties I have ever stayed at! The property is VERY close to downtown Asheville!! 10/10 recommend booking with this host!!

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Tasteful decor, comfortable furniture and a well stocked kitchen made it feel like home. We loved the historic feel with the modern updates. We have family in Rockingham County and this was definitely our favorite stay in the area. We loved everything it had to offer, especially the large kitchen that had all I needed to cook, the massive dining room table that allowed me room to work remote for a bit, and the luxury of relaxing in the hot tub to wind down for an evening.

I cannot say enough nice things about our stay. We have stayed at several Airbnb and by far, this host was THE BEST! They were thoughtful, accommodating, and flexible. They even stocked the frig with snacks and treats! I have already recommended this place to two others and will continue to! Very convenient location for all the things to do in Hendersonville. Our hosts definitely went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our stay lovely!

One of the best Airbnbs that I ever been to. Joan’s place is very spacious, with all amenities you might need and a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. Every room has a TV and heated blanket, which you can also use in balcony in a chilly evening/morning. I will certainly come back in future.

We chose Charlotte for our annual New Year's Eve trip with our friends and George's property in Huntersville was absolutely perfect for us! It was cozy, inviting, and a comfortable place to spend the New Year. We enjoyed the central location a lot; everything we could have needed or wanted to do was within a short drive down the road or within 25 minutes of the property. The indoor hot tub was a fun way to relax as well! George was responsive, friendly, and made our stay feel like we were crashing at a friend's house. I highly recommend his home to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the Charlotte area!

Home was clean and perfect for our trip. The neighborhood was peaceful but it is also in a great location and within minutes to everything we needed.

Place was as described, although felt larger than it seemed in the photos. Perfectly walkable downtown Blowing Rock location. Clean and tidy, comfortably furnished, roomy enough for our group of three with three separate beds. It's in an older house with lots of character, but the inside is updated and modern. As others noted, we did occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs, but weren't bothered by that at all. During a foggy, damp and cold day we were happy to spend time in the cozy breakfast nook with lots of natural light. Would gladly stay here in again!

Roy’s place was super cozy, my boyfriend and I loved it! Quiet and simple. Everything seemed to fit nicely for our comfort.

I have stayed in over 100 Air BnBs over the last few years for work, this is hands down the best place I have ever stayed. Beautiful place, breath taking views, and Mr. Don is one of the nicest, most interesting men I've ever had the privilege to meet. 11/10 recommend

Our family enjoyed this stay. Cute place, animals to visit and farm fresh eggs! No television but all the better to disconnect. Everything we needed plus some. The sauna was an amazing added bonus for the adults. So many homey touches and extras too. We hope to come back!

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

We had a great time in this apartment in Morganton. The apartment is very nice and charming and has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. It is located inside an old manufacturing plant in downtown, convenient to all services.

This was my third stay with Barbara and Anthony and it will remain my go to destination in Knoxville. They go well beyond the "call of duty." When they heard my loud coughing, they showed up with tea, meds and soup! Talk about caring hosts!

Me and my girlfriend stayed for a few days for a comedy show in Asheville! The house was clean, and easy to access. And the hot tub made for a great way to end the days!

Casey’s place was perfect to heal us after a traumatic time in life. We got to enjoy a great restaurant just a short drive down the hill, steam and dry sauna, indoor pool and spa. All for the price of staying here. It really was a blessing in the form of a truly last minute booking. It was a private and serene location— with the comfiest bed. Thank you so much.

We had the most wonderful stay at Banff's Lake House! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The cozy, homey atmosphere made it so easy to relax and unwind. My wife absolutely loved every aspect of the house, especially the thoughtful amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The house was incredibly peaceful and tidy, with a calm, serene energy that allowed us to truly enjoy our time away. The highlight for us was definitely the view. Watching the sunset while soaking in the hot tub was an experience we'll never forget. This farmhouse is perfect for your family get togethers. We had a wedding full of guest, food, music, and everything we needed to enjoy our time. Thanks to the hosts and their responsive feedback it was well worth the stay. On top of how nice everything was from the check in to the check out. Nice and easy!

Beautiful home and surroundings. Really enjoyed our cousin trip at this location. The rooms were all very nice and spacious. Communications was great with the rental company. They specified all the details. Really had a wonderful time.
