Waterfront holiday rentals in Western North Carolina

Great place to stay at for the weekend. Bed was comfy and the sleeper sofa was perfect for our son to sleep on. This place had everything we needed. We enjoyed the little deck looking at the lake with the mountains in the background. What a beautiful view! The playground that was nearby was great for our son to play on. The Buttered Biscuit restaurant right up the road was perfect for breakfast! This is great place to stay at for visiting areas nearby such as Waynesville, Dillsboro, Cherokee and Bryson City. Go eat at Haywood Smokehouse in Dillsboro and look up Nikki’s Frybread in Cherokee.

Perfect spot! Right on the water where you can walk out on the (basically) private balcony/patio spot and see the water. You can walk to everything in Helen. It truly is a great location to stay! Even with this being directly above a restaurant, you couldn't hear anything from outside while you were in this place. that was fantastic! The linens, towels, floors, couch...literally everything was very clean! I was really impressed as usually there is a random hair or something on the bedding or towels, but not here!! We would definitely stay here again. the ONLY "negative" I could say here is that it took us like 5 minutes to figure out how to open the door after we put the code in. then we felt dumb when we got it. haha

Rick and Judy were amazing! Place was immaculate with priceless views while sipping your morning coffee! Beautiful location and neighborhood! Will definitely be back and will have to take Rick up on that boat ride next trip! Cant wait to go back!

This was one of the most beautiful, peaceful, cozy places we have ever stayed. Our only regret was only staying one night. There was plenty of room for 3 of us, the view from the balcony was fabulous. The water running from the river down below, and the stars up above. It was perfect. The internet worked and we were able to keep up with business, but there was no tv, and that was perfect. We definitely want to come back when we can stay for a few days, cook out on the grill, and do more hikes in the area. Monisha was very easy to communicate and gave us ideas for dinner and breakfast.

This place is a gem on the river in Knoxville. The view is beautiful, especially at night with the bridge all lit up. I walked, and I walked, and I walked…. There are restaurants and coffee shops everywhere and it is very close to downtown. It’s in a really cool historic building and we really enjoyed it. It was wonderful from start to finish!

The place is spacious with a huge backyard that my kiddos loved. The lake is beautiful even in the winter. The hosts are great!

The house was wonderful. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Our family loved how peaceful it was.

We had a fantastic stay at this lake house! The location is ideal, the home is very clean, and it easily accommodates large groups. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the spacious porch was perfect for relaxing. The dock access was a huge plus—excellent for swimming or boating—and we loved that they even prepped a fire with plenty of firewood for us. The host was very helpful and nice. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a comfortable, scenic getaway! We absolutely will come back!!

We came for the night to watch our daughter’s softball game at a nearby University and it was perfect. We were able to cook her a home cooked meal and just enjoy time together. Thank you so much for hosting us.

We had a fabulous family vacation! The house was comfortable and we enjoyed lots of fishing off the dock.

We had a great family gathering at Scott’s lake house. Lots of room for everyone including Skye, our dog. Great sunrises and sunsets. Played cornhole and went inside to warm up!

Our stay here was wonderful. This place was perfect for our family and Joann is always very responsive. Definitely a good deal for the price…it was clean comfortable and many nice touches especially the snack basket which came in handy. We will definitely stay here again!

We were so happy to be able to book this place on such short notice after having our original stay at another lake house cancelled by the host at the very last minute when we were already on the road traveling with our small children and friends. Tony was very accommodating and made what would have been a ruined trip very nice and enjoyable. Thank you so much!

My mother and I stayed here for a conference. The location is great and was just a short walk to the convention center. The space was clean and had everything we needed. You can hear the plumbing from upstairs, but the host provided earplugs to help with that. My only piece of feedback is that there is not much lighting around the stairs used to get inside the air bnb, and if you enter from inside the building, the stairs from the patio are very steep. If you are someone who struggles to navigate stairs, it may be something to consider. More lighting and a railing outside on the stairs would have definitely helped. Otherwise, I think the stay was great. A storm came in, and because the space is on the lowest level, we were very safe. And the host is very responsive, which is always a plus, especially if there are issues with codes and things like that.

Great place to stay. Centrally located to lots of great restaurants, attractions and grocery stores. Loved sitting out back listening to the birds and the creek below. Very private and peaceful. Super clean with lots of extra nice touches. Check out Anakeesta, beautiful park and incredible Mountain views.

Great stay for the price. Loved sitting on the balcony watching the river and geese, and fishing in the river. The place was as described. Parking was better than expected. Chuck was very responsive when I had a question. The only thing bad was the horrible smell of Indian food (curry or whatever they cook with). Our neighbors must have been Indian and cooked all the time. That smell is just so strong and doesn’t go away! There is absolutely nothing wrong with Chuck’s place. We are local and go to Gatlinburg quite frequent. I will definitely book here again.

My wife and I were up for a youth church conference. We found our time here to be beautiful ,scenic, and easy for us to walk to our conference. Chris was so welcoming and very easy instructions to understand. Always updating us about our trip before during and after which we found to be very comforting. He gave clear and easy to follow directions and could t have been a better host. Hopefully next year we can book his room for next year’s conference.

Quiet, spacious and clean. Perfect place to stay while visiting the area. The little gift basket with bagels made my stay! Thank you for a great stay!

I wish I had found this place sooner! Great location, easy to find, and clean. I wouldn't change one thing. From the second you walk in this place has everything you could ever need in an airbnb. Jackie is very responsive and kind. 10/10!!

Really nice house beautiful and clean really nice place to stay

Jason was very proactive and responsive. Location is removed but still extremely close to all of Seneca’s offerings. Had fun at the pool.
