Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Very nice, large & clean remodeled basement. Comfortable bed, large special bathroom, very nice kitchen & dining room , plus a living room & a laundry. We’ve stayed here before & will stay there again. The little extras make it all worth while. Very good & delicious snacks & chocolates, plus coffee pods & cold drinks in the refrigerator. Leslie’s place was absolutely perfect for our stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the stunning mountain views, complete with chairs on the porch where we could sit, relax, and take it all in. Watching the sunset while using the grill to make our BBQ was an unforgettable experience! Leslie was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was also ideal—just 25 minutes away from Ride Kanuga and Rock Creek MTB trails, and only 10 minutes from Publix for quick shopping. To top it off, there’s a fantastic coffee shop just 5 minutes away that serves the best croissants I’ve ever tried! The peacefulness of the property added to the charm—it’s a quiet and serene place to unwind. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring we got restful sleep during our entire stay. I wish there were a rating higher than five stars to offer for The Spanish Studio and hosts Michelle and Esteve. This home away from home is beautifully furnished and decorated, and is squeaky clean. There are thoughtful touches throughout the space, and everything one could possibly need has been provided. The location is ideal for anyone needing to be in or near Black Mountain, Montreat, or Asheville, and the outside space is inviting and practical. Michelle and Esteve are kind and hospitable, and are model hosts.

This was truly one of the most charming historic homes I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at home. The space was beautifully maintained, full of character, and had all the little touches that made it feel welcoming and cozy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The hosts were wonderful—so friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. As a lifelong Andy Griffith fan, staying here in Mount Airy (aka Mayberry!) made my heart so happy. It was the perfect home base for visiting all the landmarks and soaking in the nostalgia. Highly recommend this gem—thank you for a memorable and heartwarming stay!

Jennifer was the best Host! My maid of honor and I stayed here the night before my wedding since it was close to where we were getting married. A fantastic location, a block from Montford park in the Montford Historic District. All the personal touches are so nice: fresh flowers from her garden and fresh eggs from her chickens. The bed was comfy, the show was great, and the host, Michelle, is super interesting and helpful. There is also a turntable (I listened to her Miles Davis record) and based on her bookshelf, Michelle is the most well read Airbnb host in America.

Absolutely beautiful location with a serene atmosphere. Was looking for a place that was very private and comfortable…and got exactly what I wanted. The property is stunning with rolling streams and a quiet pond. Wether it was sitting on the front porch listening to the water rushing over the rocks, relaxing a tired body in the conveniently located hot tub or laying in the bed with the windows open and a cool breeze flowing through, it was all breathtaking. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful and quiet suite. I appreciate your quick response with every question and your flexibility with our late arrival. Hope to unwind again in the near future.

Great place to stay- very clean, had all needed amenities, and such a great walkable location to restaurants and activities in downtown Morganton. Would love to visit there again!

Boone cocoon was very close to the hustle and bustle of Boone but felt very private and peaceful. It's close if not walkable to many amenities and King st and campus. Really the best of both worlds and definitely recommend.

I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

My daughter and I had a great time. The studio was beautiful , spacious and cozy. The Mountain View was breathtaking at all times of the day. Perfect private spot away from all the business but still close enough to shop, dine and sightseeing. The kitties were a friendly bonus! The sky at night is amazing! Very quiet! Thanks so much for a great trip!

We absolutely loved this place. The room was beautiful, clean and smelled so good! The land was just amazing. We went to the youth rodeo and had such a good time. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent last minute stay. Apartment was clean and Arayna even set up the air mattress for us before our arrival. We visited some of the restaurant recommendations and found a new favorite spot. The hot tub was clean and we had a nice view of the fireflies in the field from the hot tub. We could not get the outdoor fire ring to work, but could have been user error, either way we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and we had plenty of room. The location was perfect. You are close to everything in Pigeon Forge but it didn’t feel like it. It was quiet and not overly busy at the resort. Our boys enjoyed the pool and lazy river. You can see Dollywood’s fireworks from the balcony. We watched them 2 nights in a row. You could also see some of their drone show as well. If we travel back to the area we would definitely enjoy staying here again.

We loved staying here!! It was beautiful! Our favorite things were the waterfall, the big deck and the yard!

We were so lucky to find this place about 2 miles from my Son’s house. After a short ride on some windy, hilly roads (not bad at all) we arrived in a lovely neighborhood. As hosts they were friendly and helpful and more than generous. They supplied breakfast foods, water bottles, and other food stuffs that were more than welcome after a long drive. The Airbnb was spotless and welcoming, bed (master, we didn’t use the other bedroom) was extremely comfortable. Of course the hot tub was a huge bonus that was also a welcomed perk. Barbara and Steve were there when we arrived and were More than gracious. From start to finish our visit was perfect. We felt right at home and access to downtown Weaverville and Asheville was a breeze. We will definitely return.

Denise's place is very nice. It's located in a peaceful, wooded setting that is 4 minutes from downtown Black Mountain. The bed is comfortable and everything in the space is in great shape. The hot tub is very nice and has a view of the back yard and an adjacent wooded area. Denise and Jimmy are helpful and quick to respond to messages. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to rent again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay and really appreciate the available pack-n-play, kitchen booster seat and utensils for our child. Great location!

Susan’s place was quiet, clean, and spacious! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our dog crates inside as well as a backyard and neighborhood for us to walk with our puppies! The sectional was great for movie watching at the end of a day exploring!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mountain Creek Inn in the Wine Down unit. Our host was responsive and helpful. Everything in our unit was clean and just as described. The view from the back deck was beautiful. We loved listening to the stream flowing by and soaking in the hot tub in the evening. We like to cook and enjoyed preparing our meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The bed was quite comfortable. Our time at Wine Down was relaxing and refreshing, just what we wanted in a mountain getaway! It was also easy to get to places we wanted to visit in the Great Smokey Mountains. We'd love to stay at Wine Down again!
