Waterfront holiday rentals in West Sussex

We absolutely loved our night in this apartment. The panoramic views over the sea are stunning. The living area is beautiful and really generously sized. The decor is lovely and it was really clean and well presented. We didn't want to leave!

Firstly, June was a good egg! Lovely lady and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She was always there if we had any questions or needed anything. The flat was literally perfect for a couple of nights away. Clean, everything was new. The whole place was comfortable, bright and airy with an amazing little roof terrace to sit out on and have a morning coffee or a glass of wine at night. Loads of lovely little bars, cafes, shops, etc. within a stones throw and the beach is across the road. Its our first time in Brighton for 15 years or more and we were blown away by how nice the place is. Great shops, bars were all heaving, amazing vibe, great crowd. Honestly, the whole weekend was just what the Doctor ordered and we will be back. P.s, the bed was so comfy too!!!

We have stayed at Doug’s place several times and always enjoy be there. We love the location as it is away from the noise and bustle of central Brighton but within a few minutes walk you can be in the centre. Also, there are lots of little restaurants and cafes just around the corner. This is not the bleak corporate let that you sometimes get, it is very individualistic and quirky and we feel right at home as soon as we arrive. Doug is very easy to deal with and always responsive. This would always be our first choice when going to Brighton.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Good size bedrooms and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils etc. Two minute walk through the shared garden to the stone beach so super easy to pop down. East Wittering itself had lovely cafes and bakeries plus an amazing cheese shop. Karen was helpful and very responsive. I'd have no hesitation in staying again.

Lovely quirky studio flat. Fantastic location, walking distance to everything! It is free street parking, you may not find a space immediately outside the flat, but in short walking distance, you will be able to find a space. Love the seats with beautiful flowers and plants where you can sit outside at the front. Our dog loved the beach which is a stone throw from the studio flat!

Easy to find and a great location. Space was spotless and the instructions/manual were clear and made things easy to find. Lovely stay.

Lovely apartment by Worthing seafront, with all the comforts needed for a short stay. Super clean , all very new. The hosts were quick in communications and instructions to access very clear. We would have loved a little “welcome breakfast” kit , as we arrived late evening with a kid , and we did not have time for food shopping. Overall, very nice place to stay!

Kay's apartment was absolutely superb for us and she was such a great host. She was able to provide a travel cot and high chair at the last minute as silly grandparents had forgotten to pack them. It was no problem for Kay and she'd got it in position by the time we arrived, for which we were all extremely grateful. The apartment is located in a great spot with direct views over the estuary and Arun yacht club and a 5 minute walk from the beach and high st! We were greeted with a lovely basket containing sourdough bread, homemade biscuits, milk, jam, marmalade as well as plenty of tea bags, coffee & sugar! All the beds were comfortable as was the sofa and easy chairs in the lounge/diner. We all would recommend the local fish & chip shop Osca's as the food there was fantastic!

Thi house is comfortable cosy every you need, lovely snacks, Tea coffee milk cereal. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, gorgeous top quality bedding. This house is stunning. Thi aloud us an early check-in and also was very kind when I asked to leave a few hours later the morning we was leaving, she responded yes very quickly, thank you Thi. West Wittering beach is only 20 minutes which we sent the day on. Amazing Airbnb, can't wait to come back.

Beautiful house in lovely area. Location would be hard to better, 5 minute walk to sea and a little further to shops/restaurants. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. We particularly loved the secure gated parking area and the very modern, spacious kitchen.

We had an amazing stay for my Husband’s birthday and the property did not disappoint! It was so beautifully decorated and very clean. Laura was also a fantastic host and answered all questions immediately. Thank you so much for giving us such a great weekend and for the extra surprise gift for my husband. We had the best time and will definitely be back soon.

I was only at Anne-Marie’s house overnight, but it was a lovely, quiet spot away from the bustle of Brighton but conveniently close to everything. It’s a beautiful house with a lovely garden, and I would have no hesitation in staying there again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cottage in a breathtaking location. Lindy’s place was truly exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. Lindy was so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to meet her. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for two days on this occasion, but what an amazing two days they were. Thank you for sharing your home with us, Lindy.

We had a fantastic stay during May half term with the kids - the house is stunning, even better than the photos and the view is spectacular. The house has a very high -end finish to it and had everything you could wish for in terms of amenities. We look forward to visiting again sometime soon

Andrea’s place in Brighton was absolutely outstanding—by far the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Every corner of the apartment was spotless, fresh, and clearly well cared for. It made the whole experience feel extra comfortable and relaxing. Beyond the incredible cleanliness, the space was beautifully set up, fully equipped, and in a great location—close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but still nice and quiet. Andrea was also a wonderful host—warm, responsive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Brighton!

Excellent apartment in great location, gated community, and facing the marina. Easy distance to central Brighton either via the beach, electric railway, car or uber.... Good local restaurants if not eating in town. Apartment was well equipped, clean and functional. Secure parking. A vey enjoyable long weekend stay by the coast.

Joanne was a great host, very responsive and helpful. The apartment was lovely and perfect for our stay. Great location- within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and the beach. Just a short walk from the station. Everywhere was clean and beds extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend Joanne’s apartment to anyone visiting Hove .

Seaside HQ was a brilliant base for our first trip to Brighton! The flat is beautiful - even nicer in real life than in the photos and is spacious, clean and quiet. The nook is a really super bonus, it’s such gorgeous space to relax and unwind in. The location is excellent, we were able to walk to all of the places/areas we wanted to see and explore. There are shops and restaurants nearby to pick up supplies/get food - the pizza from Al Forno (3/4 min walk away) is delicious! Vikki was a terrific host, communication was super and every step of the process was really straightforward. Highly recommended!

Katherine’s place was lovely. The views were amazing and we had so much fun there. The place was also well situated and we felt safe throughout our stay at Brighton. The kitchen was also well equipped and we managed to cook soup which was nice for the weather. Highly recommend staying at the location. Just do take note that there are steps to the apartment :)

This a beautiful bright and very well designed pad - just 3 mins walk from a beach that goes on for miles. It's kept to a very high standards and one of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in for a long time. I would definitely recommend it and we will return

About as close to the sea as possible without being in the water! Beautiful interior, very costal blues and white pastel. Dead practical to live, ie kitchen, TV, bathroom etc. a couple of very lively pubs a few yards away, not noisy, just busy and worth a drink. Three flights of stairs are a consideration but of course the benefit is a grand, elevated view of the bay. Honestly, the description by the reviewers and the owners is about as accurate as you can get. A cracking break, Thankyou x
