Holiday rentals with breakfast in West Sussex

We had a delightful one night stay at The Nest on our way to the south coast. After a long day of travel, arriving at The Nest was a welcome embrace. Spotlessly clean and so cozy, it is clear that Sally and Steven have put much care and effort into making this lovely space an oasis. We slept well and were appreciative of the optional breakfast. Steven's culinary skills provided us with a hearty start to the day and we enjoyed the opportunity of chatting with Sally and learning more about the area. Our only regret is that this was a one night stay. If ever in the area, we would certainly stay again. While we did not visit on this trip, we highly recommend nearby Petworth--both the town and the National Trust property are within easy reach.

We stayed at Julia's while house hunting. Really enjoyed our stay, particularly the view from the lounge of the deer and assorted wildlife. The provision of a stocked fridge and a welcome cake were much appreciated.

I had a wonderful weekend at the secret garden. The annexe is exactly as described and was so comfortable, well stocked and homely, not to mention very dog friendly! I absolutely loved it, and would definitely book again!

Lovely stay in the flat - place was clean and tidy and felt right at home. Buses are within a 5 min walk so getting into Brighton town centre/beach by public transport was easy. 10/10 would stay here again

From the moment we were enthusiastically welcomed at the door by Calypso, we knew we were going to have a happy week in Portslade. Both cats were very friendly and affectionate with all of us, making it a home from home for a family of four with two small boys. The home offers plenty of room for a getaway and has all the amenities you'd normally need if you were at home. Our elder son appreciated having a climbing frame in his room too! The pub next door was missing some of its fencing while we were staying, which removed a bit of privacy from the back garden, but thankfully when we were indoors we didn't notice any of the noise or smoke from the beer garden unless we had the back windows open. Our boys loved having open access to football pitches behind the pub. Parking was usually ok nearby but we struggled for a space one evening when there was a big event at the nearby Hindu temple. Bus and train connections into places like Brighton, Hove and Worthing were excellent.

Absolutely beautiful home within a home. Shame it was for just one night as the place warranted staying longer. lovely furnishings, comfortable bed. Loved the fact that the fridge was stocked. And tea and coffee available. Extremely clean and welcoming, great that we could watch prime and Netflix, it was my friend and my yearly stay away, to de-stress, and that's what we did. We LOVED our stay here and plan to come back when our dog ( currently a puppy) is big enough to enjoy the longer walks on offer in the area! Helen is one of the best Airbnb hosts we have met who sent us so many great tips in advance that we could have stayed a few weeks and prob not seen it all. Keith’s place is a really sweet with a large comfortable bed, sofa and kitchenette, and an immaculate bathroom. There are chairs and tables indoors and out on the patio area - the latter with lovely views up to the downs and across the fields. There are lots of walks around the area and it is really peaceful. Keith was charming and everything was perfect for a lovely night away.

Jenny’s place is in a perfect location in Hove, within walking distance to loads of lovely restaurants and bars and very close to Hove Station. We really enjoyed our stay the apartment was extremely clean, comfortable beds and very modern throughout. We will definitely be back, thank you Jenny.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Old Cooks House. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we both slept well on all nights. Jackie had left a plethora of goodies for us for breakfast and snacking and she was really helpful in guiding us to places to eat out. It was a lovely break.

What can I say? I stayed for the night as my children had an overnight stay with their Brownies nearby so I thought I’d treat myself to a little getaway I cannot fault my stay, it truly was a wonderful stay. My hosts were very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. My accommodation was spotless! WiFi, Sky with the full package (I don’t even have the full package at my own home) NF & Prime Fridge was stocked with fresh milk, soft drinks & beers Breakfast stuff available also which was very kind of them 2 minutes walk from Tescos, there is also a big shopping centre which is about a 20 minute drive away I really felt at home here, I would 100% stay here again & would also recommend to my friends. Richard is a wonderful host, very thoughtful and going above and beyond that of a host. We asked for an early checkin which he was happy to accommodate, even offered to pick up my partner from the bus station, very sweet. The ‘savants quarters’ as he calls it were delightful, the view was amazing and we had a really comfortable stay. As Richard and his wife were away for the week we also had access to the kitchen which was lovely. We would recommend Richards place to anyone. Thanks again, Danielle

Fabulous place with a wonderful host, we will definitely return. Barbara was brilliant host and we loved our stay, the little extra bits like tea and coffee were really helpful as we arrived later in the day. We will definitely be returning and will stay longer next time.

We had a fantastic few days at Simon's apartment in Brighton. It is the perfect distance from the tourist attractions at the beach/the Laines, the train station and some of the other neighborhoods. The apartment was cozy and comfortable with fun decorative touches. Simon was friendly and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Lucy was extremely hospitable & thoughtful ! The fridge in my room has crumpets inside !! Cute ! A bowl of little varied chocolates, one of fruit & cutlery , a breakfast bowl , kettle : tea , coffee , hot chocolate and more , she thought of everything , and even had some toiletries incl shampoo & conditioner.. my room has its own showroom / toilet 👍🏼 Very communicative , friendly , helpful and happy for you to enjoy her garden and home ! Will def stay again if I return ! Plus Sassy her fluffy grey cat is a bonus ! Thanks L! 🪷

Absolutely loved my stay in the shepherds hut, beautiful scenery of the land. Was very nice and clean. Hot tub was a nice addition to are stay as was the swing in the forest. I would definitely be coming back to sue as she was such a friendly host. And she gave us some nice recommendations of places to go and visit. And lovely homemade breakfasts brought to us every morning. Can’t wait to come back.

Just wanted to say how amazing Sophie has been from start to finish. We booked this one year in advance and Sophie was always on hand with any questions. Probably one of the best service we had ever. The place Sophie has is beautiful. The photos do not do this place justice. We thank you for such an amazing safe space to visit.

What a FAB find, Sue has thought of everything and you have breakfast included. The room is very spacious plus a balcony to sit out and chill, free parking outside and a five minute walk into the town, what more could you ask for, many thanks Sue.
