Sindles Farm Shepherd's Hut- Hampshire

SineadRating, 5 stars7 months ago
What a place 😍! Laura is the most welcoming host and made us feel so welcome before we even arrived. The Hampshire hut is the perfect place for a little getaway and with two dogs the walks right on the doorstep was just perfect! We enjoying cooking over the fire and made the most of the toasty log burner inside the hut, and despite the colder evenings we’re never cold in the cosy hut ! Just perfect, will definitely be back :) thank you Laura đŸ’«đŸ’«đŸ’«đŸ’«đŸ’«

French Gypsy Caravan

AdamRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Three of us stayed for 2 nights in spring while the weather was cool. The sheperd's hut is one of 3 on site - well spaced - along with several lodges all located off a gravel drive and surrounded by a large expanse of grass bordered by shrubs. The site is accessed through a substantial wooden electric gate from the main road - which makes for a very secure setting. Plus points: * well equipped - including good quality knives (in wooden block) & 2 ring induction hob * very well insulated (warm & quiet) * easy walk from Hassocks station * lovely walk to Jack & Jill windmills at top of the Downs * attractive site * remote key fob for electric gate * fresh flowers, organic tea * large towels, nice linen * good WiFi Other things: * Quite a lot of road noise from A273 during busy periods daytime * If you are over 6' tall and plan to use a single bed thene expect your feet to stick out uncovered, as the banquette & duvet are short. I would definitely stay again.

Glamping shepherds hut South Downs

Pauline is lovely and really helpful. The Shepherds Hut is literally on the South Downs Way, so couldn't be easier. It's basic but has everything you need for a night's stay. There is a separate toilet and shower.

Well-equipped Shepherds hut in private glade

AlishaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an amazing time staying in Graffham. The location is perfect with lots of marked public footpaths on site to explore and the farm itself is also lovely. There were horses and lambs right outside our door! The Shepard’s hut is cosy and romantic inside, and the bed is extremely soft and comfortable. Although it’s small, the space is used very efficiently. We loved the outdoor area which was enclosed for our dog, and we also enjoyed using the fire pit and looking out over the fields. I couldn’t recommend this accommodation highly enough. Although we had no reason to contact the host throughout our stay, there was lots of information about the hut and local area left for us in a booklet.

Lakeside Hut with Hot Tub, Fire Pit, BBQ, & WiFi

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Olly and Kate have created a beautiful escape from reality. After 2 nights, my husband and I felt recharged; it was just what we needed. I originally booked for a March stay but had to move dates and they were very accommodating. The area is peaceful. The hut is quaint but full of charm and everything you might need. The decor is tasteful and homely. The hot tub is such a lovely treat. We ran out of kindling for the hot tub fire and they brought over more. We went for a 2 hour hike in the surrounding countryside, bluebells everywhere you looked. It was just bliss. I booked this place over many similar closer options because of its unique charm and the 5 star reviews from previous guests. I would love to stay here again. It was just perfect. Don’t hesitate
 book it. You deserve it.

Gigi Sleeps

LaurynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Gigi is the best Shepherd’s Hut we have stayed in by far! My boyfriend and I have stayed in 5 huts so far, and Fiona had been the BEST host we have come across. She really is the Hostess with the Mostess! She has thought about absolutely everything, from breakfast goodies to toiletries, she really has nailed it. The views of this shepherd’s hut are nothing short of beautiful. We were so lucky to catch the cows in the field directly in front who provide endless entertainment, and donkeys to the right. This really is the best of both worlds. We made the absolute most of the lovely firepit too. Fiona, you are hands down the best host we have come across. Anyone thinking about staying here will not be let down.

Contemporary Barn, W. Wittering

HayleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Just had the most amazing weekend away with my friends at The Barn. Tim was so helpful and friendly and pointed us in the right direction to walk to the beach. The property is amazing, spotless with lots of added extras to make your stay brilliant. The fire pit was great to sit round of an evening and have a nice drink in the huge well maintained garden. I do not have a bad word to say! Keep up the great work. We will be back next year!

Spacious Solar powered Wagon with onsite Wild Spa

JosephRating, 5 stars20 months ago
We had a wonderful few days at this beautiful location. We would particularly recommend use of the Wild Spa facilities including the Hottub, sauna and cold plunge! We were also grateful that we booked massages as was well worth the extra money. All felt like a lovely escape and a relaxing few days.

We absolutely loved staying in Clare's Shepards Hut. It was really nicely decorated and very clean with all you need even in a small space. Check in was really easy and the breakfast was a really lovely touch. We stay two nights and were offered additional items for the second morning.

Cosy Shepard’s hut . With use of Gypsy wagon.

CarylRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I absolutely LOVED this place, immediately regretted not booking another night & I’ve already booked another stay! After walking in the Downs, and along the River Ouse, I had a lovely afternoon exploring the quirky shops, the Flea Market, and a good few pubs in Lewes! Feeling happy-tired after all the walking (& a hefty pub lunch), I arrived at Michelle’s & found myself in utter peaceful bliss - the perfect place to relax & unwind. Loving it so, I quickly abandoned all plans of walking to The Five Bells. Instead, I got the enormous firepit ablaze & spent the rest of my night warming myself in front of the flames, with a bottle of Fizz, simply enjoying the sound of the bleeting sheep. With plenty of wood provided to burn well into the wee hours, I later found myself being serenaded by a hooting owl. Heaven! I eventually dragged myself to the comfiest bed imaginable & had the best night’s sleep. As if things couldn’t get better, I awoke on Easter Sunday to my very own lambs!! Perfection!

In a woodland glade: Romantic shepherd's hut

LaurenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Bluebell shepherds’ hut was lovely. Exactly like the photos with a great outdoor space. Perfect for glamping and enjoying the outdoors with comfort. Maddy the cocker spaniel was a highlight! There were a lot of walking paths nearby and you could quickly feel like you were fully in nature. We were initially wary of the outdoor shower but there was plenty of hot water, privacy and it was easy to use.

Luxury shepherd’s hut in South Downs National Park

SophieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Amazing little hut, that is so cosy and warm. Great WiFi too if you need it. James and Amy were really quick to respond and when we ran out of coffee pods, they dropped some over in time for the next morning for us. We found it difficult to find the house, and some of the roads are really like bridleways with dips, puddles etc but you will be absolutely fine if you have a 4 x 4 - our little Audi just about was okay but it was a challenge at times (the stormy rainy weather of course made it worse). You definitely need a car if you stay here - Lewes is just a 15 min drive and we loved exploring it. Overall it was a really great stay, and we will come back for sure :) Sophie and Emma

SHEPHERDESS

SophieRating, 5 stars32 months ago
As a group of 9 young women we had an amazing stay at Shepherdess! The barn, caravan and 3 shepherds huts are all wonderful - beautifully designed, great quality, equipped with all essentials, all set in picturesque surroundings! It's worth noting that the 3 shepherds huts are positioned in a different field to the barn and caravan - this wasn't a problem for us, but may be for others. Hermione was a very helpful and communicative host! Would highly recommend, and would love to go back!
