This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. We hope everyone feels comfortable in our vacation home. It is a very complete house of about 100 m2. Uitgeest is very centrally located. Easy to reach via A9 and the train. The cities Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are within half an hour's drive. The beach is 8 km away. Pets are welcome in consultation.

In the street behind the cottage is a nice, large playground, the "OKB". The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and opposite the house. Free parking within walking distance. Center: a 5-minute walk Beach: 30 minutes by bike/15 minutes by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

Welcome to Koerhuys Alkmaar! A one-of-a-kind 16th century courtyard house located at the old city center. Walking distance to the cheese market, shops, restaurants, bars and monuments but the courtyard feels peaceful and secluded. Good base to explore Amsterdam, tullip fields, old villages, dunes and the nearby beaches! The house was lovingly renovated with a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel.
