Pet-friendly holiday rentals in North Holland

We liked Ron's accommodation very much. Everything was as described. The living space was significantly larger than the photos suggested. The house is very centrally located, close to supermarket, bakery and restaurants. The way to the beach is also quite short. Nevertheless, the apartment is very quiet. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Annete is a great host and her accommodation is highly recommended. Everything you need (grocery stores, bars, restaurants, train station to Amsterdam) is in the immediate vicinity. The cottage is very quiet, with a small front garden. We had a very nice week there. The surroundings are picturesque, the sea and the beach are super clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, we lacked nothing in the house. The water is very good and soft. There is a vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, kettle, coffee machine. You have to keep in mind that the rooms have no doors and the stairs up are very steep, so that a toilet visit at night is hardly possible. But it didn't bother us. We will be happy to come back!!!

Karin's accommodation is wonderful. It is strategically great, as the surrounding towns/cities are not far away. You can easily reach them on foot or by bike. The accommodation is as described and is quiet and somewhat remote. We felt very comfortable. Karin was a very pleasant host. Thank you again for everything.

Great place for our family.

One of our favourite Airbnb stays - Noortje’s place had everything - a unique space, well equipped, thoughtful touches and a beautiful location next to the working windmill. We were pleasantly surprised with Alkmaar - lots to see and do - the cheese market is a must. Some great bars and restaurants nearby in the old town. Oosterhout parkrun was less than 10 minutes by bike. Thank you for hosting us - I hope we will make a return visit one day. We have already recommended to friends and family.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

great communication and Trip Overall!

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

Our stay at Annelies' was simply wonderful! The space was clean and cozy. The hosts were extremely friendly and warm. She provided us with great tips for the area. The location was perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

A few wonderful days spent in Schoorl and surroundings. Great reception with explanations and tips. The residence is a good starting point for walks in the beautiful dune area. Walked a large part of the red route to Hargen, which can be picked up near the cottage. Beautiful! House itself is small but nice. Stairs up and down can be a bit of a challenge, but it's doable. Nice scented soap available. Nice sunny seating area in the garden. Thank you Menno and Kim for your hospitality.

Frank warmly welcomed us to his great apartment and gave us a nice little tour of the premises. He was available around the clock and had even given us various tips and excursion destinations before arrival, which were tailored to our preferences. The apartment was tidy, clean and there was really NOTHING missing! The area is nice and quiet, with few tourists and a beautiful, clean and spacious beach. Perfect also for our dog. Our highlight was the nearby town of Alkmar with its market and also the CSD Pride Parade on the water, which we happened to come across. Absolutely recommended and super nice residents. All in all our stay was perfect. It couldn't have been better and we are sad that the short break is already over. We will definitely come back if we felt right at home. Frank and Tucha‘s apartment is an absolut Pearl of an Airbnb. We felt super welcomed, the apartment is as described and looks as it’s published online. Compared to other Airbnb’s, the apartment (bedroom / bathroom / livingroom and especially the kitchen) is fully equipped including all necessities and tools you‘d wished or could ask for. The interior is quite stylish and still in perfect shape. We had a couple of amazing days (pure sunshine) and enjoyed the huge garden after chilling at the beach for some barbecue or just some peaceful hours. We will certainly come back! We stayed in the area for the first time and chose the place due to the beautiful place. We had a wonderful 5 days. There was everything you needed, everything was clean and you felt right at home. The location is absolutely fantastic, lots of privacy and you walked quickly to the beach and the city. We will definitely come again! Absolute heart recommendation.
