Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Charming countryside Lodge on island de Woude

Lakeland Lodge, een vakantiehuisje gelegen op het idyllische eiland De Woude. Reeds op de veerpont slaat de onthaasting toe. Het vrijstaand huisje is luxe afgewerkt en voorzien van een badkamer met inloopdouche, keuken met o.a vaatwasser, oven, en koffiezetapparaat. Er is een comfortabele slaapbank op de begane grond. Op de eerste verdieping is een ruime slaapkamer met kingsize boxspring, aangrenzend nog een kleed/slaapkamer met een eenpersoons bed. Terras op het zuiden met weids uitzicht.

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Free Wi-Fi, free parking and coffee and tea are all available. Please mind: the loft suite is because of the slope ceiling less convenient for very tall and/or very big persons. On just a short walk you'll find the famous windmills of De Zaanse Schans and railway station Zaandijk Zaanse Schans with a direct connection with Amsterdam Centraal 4xhour

A weekend away, city trip Amsterdam/Alkmaar, wooded cycling routes or spending time by the sea… Welcome to unwind here, take your night's sleep and recharge for the next day. The station, supermarkets, drugstore, bakery and restaurants are only a minute's walk away. The neighborhood of this guesthouse is really equipped with every comfort. The accommodation built in 2020 has a separate shower and toilet downstairs and upstairs a living/bedroom. There is no cooking facility or outdoor space.

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Within half an hour you'll be in the centre of Amsterdam but also in Alkmaar, Volendam, Zaanse Schans. We offer you a spacious private guest house in a beautiful surrounding. You'll have a lot of privacy and the owner is happy to inform you and make it as comfortable as possible. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo business travelers and families (with children).

De Woude, boat the Steert.

A beautiful boat (Stevenvlet) where you can relax, even in winter , because the super heater keeps it nice and warm. The boat is located on the Woude , located on our jetties at Restaurant 't Kombof. De Woude is an island with 160 inhabitants. You get on the ferry that takes you to the other side in a few minutes and you are immediately on holiday. You can take a beautiful walk on the island. The Woude is centrally located. Within half an hour you are in Amsterdam, Alkmaar or at the beach.
