Beautiful location! Close to the center but still very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly welcome by Mirjam, detailed introduction. Detailed communication about check-in and bicycle parking in advance. The apartment is located in Barlheze Street, in the beautiful old town, 5 min walk from the train station. Private entrance, narrow S-shaped Dutch stairway to the 1st floor. Cozy kitchen-living room, bedroom, large bathroom with shower and two sinks. Bright, all rooms with windows, views to the street and to the yard. Very quiet, no through traffic on the street. Very well equiped kitchen. We parked our rented public transport bikes at night partly in the bicycle parking lot in the train station (24 hours, free), partly on the street (corner of Henkestraat).

We are so thankful for our time at The Happiest Place, we wish we could give a 6 Star Review! The unit is spacious and cozy, immaculately clean, and has tons of natural light. The kitchen is well -appointed and the bed is perfectly medium-firm. The apartment is centrally located in Utrecht, on a quiet street. Easy walking distance from the train station, grocery stores, restaurants, laundromat, and tourist attractions. Rob is an amazing host, very friendly and gracious, with a deep wealth of local knowledge. We stayed for multiple weeks and ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Rob replaced the sheets and towels multiple times and did such a fantastic job making us feel at-home in the apartment. I can say without a doubt, there is nowhere better to stay in Utrecht.

Marietta's house is located in the beautiful town of Muiderberg, from where we are completely uncomplicated to Amsterdam for three days. The house is very well maintained, surrounded by old trees and many detached villas. The apartment furnished, there were small welcome gifts such as chocolates, cheese and wine. Thank you for this. After sightseeing in the city, we ended the evening in Muiderberg on the beach. Have a great stay.

This apartment was charming, right on a canal, making nighttime peaceful. If you're there for King's Day as we were, skip the crowds and watch party boats pass by while everyone waves and sings. Everything was as perfect as it appeared online. Lex and Sylvia are thoughtful and gracious hosts. I searched for a special gift, and Sylvia went above and beyond—she found it, texted us, and sent pictures! They provided all the essential information, plus an abundance of brochures and maps. The flat is perfect! The kitchen had everything one needed. They even stocked the fridge with essentials for breakfast and lunch. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom and outside space were excellent. The location is incredible. Thank you, Sylvia and Lex, for a wonderful weekend in Utrecht! It was one of my best vacations in a while. We can't wait to come back, Deb

Great apartment. Really well thought out. The level of detail in the guide put together was fabulous and really helpful. Excellent facilities, I’ve been to so many Airbnbs where you get one washing tab and limited hand soap. Here there was a good supply of everything. Bread, butter and cheese on arrival was a nice touch. Decent coffee machine too 😊 The beds were very very comfy! Couldn’t fault at all. I’d defo return should I ever happen to be in Utrecht. Beautiful, spacious accommodation, quiet green surroundings. If you are good on foot, easy to reach. By train you can quickly get to Amsterdam or Utrecht, both highly recommended. Arthur is very supportive when you need help or advice. So a highly recommended place to stay.

Great place to stay for our party of 5. Right on the lake but a short 10 minute walk to town and eating places. We loved our stay here

We had a wonderful break from everyday life in Rogier's cottage! Rogier welcomed us in a very friendly way at the boat dock and patiently explained to us the handling by boat and a few special features in the house. We found everything very clean and tidy and felt super comfortable right away. The cottage is really something special! Rogier built it himself and you can tell how much love and passion there is in this project. I highly recommend staying there, especially for families with older children: hours of sunshine in the garden and on the terrace, swimming in the lake, traveling by boat or canoeing made us a lot of fun! Attractive bike paths take you to the center of Utrecht and we have also taken beautiful tours in the area. The only small criticism: the street is closer to the house than expected and sometimes traffic noise clouds the idyll in nature a little. We're still thrilled!

Everything all around beautiful there :-) highly recommended with dogs and children! Everyone will enjoy the beautiful place. Dogs can enter the lake directly to the left in front of the house, children on the right have a great playground right on the water. The park is well maintained. We would come back! Communication via Silke impeccable and very likeable! Nearest shopping is about 15 minutes by car.

Very nice, well equipped kitchen, plenty of room for my family of 5. Great sauna very clean. Beautiful neighborhood with the city center and great parks nearby.

We had a short, very nice New Year's Eve stay with Gerard with great views of the fireworks over the water. The apartment is modern and beautifully decorated and has a large dining and living area. In particular, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Gerard responded quickly and helpfully to inquiries. Definitely recommended!

Sandra and Thijs were nice hosts, who welcomed us warmly and gave nice tips for the area. The ground floor is wonderfully spacious. Upstairs is a little tighter (clearly in the listing), but turned out to be good enough for us as a group of friends of 7. We enjoyed the garden overlooking the old church and the quiet, beautiful surroundings. In short, recommended!

Great idea to choose the apartment for a relaxing part of our six week trip. We were thinking of travelling to Amsterdam and or Utrecht but we were rather tired at that stage and have been to Amsterdam several times. We found Armsfoort absolutely delightful and Hans loved it for photography

Lots of space and great location if you plan to drive around. The view of the canal was very fun to have.

A lovely well designed studio flat that feels very spacious. Lots of personal thoughtful touches make this a delightful place to stay for a short break. The location is brilliant for visiting the historic centre and despite being on a fairly busy road, it's not noisy. We came by car which is not advised as parking is a challenge - or expensive. Stairs up to the first floor flat are steep but straight so possibly a challenge for anyone with significant mobility issues. Gwen was extremely welcoming and helpful

Maxime's apartment is very nice and equipped, in line with the photos and very comfortable. Maxime was very helpful and gave us a lot of information on how to get to Amsterdam and what to do. The house is in a very nice location, definitely beautiful in the summer. We stayed at New Year's Eve and it was perfect as a foothold and then visit Amsterdam.l, easily reachable by car in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommended.
