Great stay at the Gîte des Alpes! The setting is breathtaking! The cottage is large, welcoming, functional and very well equipped! The living room is very well equipped for evenings. Stéphane and his partner are also very friendly and responsive. They took the time to show us around. The bedding is comfortable. We had a great time, I recommend this place without a second thought! What a delightful space from which to explore the wonderful Lyon. Laurent was generous with his time, recommendations, and accommodating flexibility. A flawless host. His home is grand in proportions and has some really lovely features - remote controlled sky light windows ...chic! The bed is very comfortable and for light sleepers a dream, as it's quiet and you can make the room so dark you could hibernate. The location is also a great spot from which to explore all the different neighbourhoods.

The apartment is a little quirky but feels very French, like you’re staying in someone’s home. The view is absolutely stunning! The bed and linens are very comfortable and we slept well. The location is very walkable and there are plenty of great restaurants, groceries and pharmacies nearby. A great jazz club, Hot Club Jazz Lyon, is literally behind the apartment. Just be aware that sleeping with the window open, needed while we were there over Easter weekend, can be very noisy with partying youngsters and very loud cars and motorcycles. Earplugs helped. We had a wonderful time in Lyon and highly recommend the apartment if you’re looking for an authentic experience.

This wonderful Airbnb is even better than the pictures. Patrick personally greatest us and gave a warm welcome with lots of useful tips. The location is ideal. It is close to everything( the old city is only an 8 minute walk) but much less congested. Shops for coffee, wine, groceries, some of the best restaurants and shopping are only a few minutes away by walking. It is one of the best equipped Airbnb's we have visited. The 6th floor provides great views and natural light. There is an elevator but you have to walk up about 10 steps to get to the elevator and another 10 when you get off. The stairway that leads to the fancy bathroom and second bedroom is fairly steep. But I'm 68 yo and was able to get our two 40lb suitcases up. My suggestion is walk as much as you can in Lyon and take the great bus service as needed as you will see more of the city than if you take the Metro.

Xavier's appartment is exactly in the center of town, right where you want to be. We were walking distance from great restaurants, the musée des beaux arts, etc. We loved our stay and all the nice furniture and decorative touches in his place.

Elisabeth was quick to respond to any queries about our booking, and very welcoming when we arrived. There had been a leak from the upstairs apartment just before our stay which Elisabeth felt really bad about but she did all she could to make us comfortable and it didn’t impact us very much at all. The apartment is very homely and conveniently located for shops and restaurants in a lively part of town. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and equipment. We enjoyed our stay and Elisabeth kindly let us stay later on check-out day.

We have stayed in many Airbnbs before, but our experience with Annie was truly unbeatable! She is an amazing host, kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home, even going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. We are beyond grateful for her hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Villa Farou. The house is splendid, the view is beautiful, the house offers very nice services, the cleanliness is impeccable. The bright house, the outside is beautiful and promises beautiful summer days. Great for families, or groups of friends. We'll be back without hesitating.

We spent a week at the end of February with six of my friends. We were hosted very well, in person, by Mrs. Favre. I received simple and clear instructions on the use of the listing and its amenities and I am satisfied with the exchanges I had. The house is very comfortable and there is, in fact, no problem with hot water. The temperature remains constant even without fire after the sun sets. The amenities work well and the kitchen is well-stocked to help prepare small dishes. In conclusion, this house allowed us to have a great week, thank you again!

Beautiful place in a quiet and peaceful location. The accommodation has everything you need, very well suited for a group of 10 people and is located close to very nice walks/hikes. I recommend it!
