In a short walking distance from the apartment, Arendal's new pride is the bathing island of Løkholmen (see attached photos). There is a private trampoline, dinghy, jetty and beach on the property that is shared with the host family if we are at home. About 45 minutes drive to the zoo in Kristiansand.

From the water tap you can drink spring water that has a good and fresh taste. You can enjoy a large garden, and pick your own salad and herbs for breakfast. The place has several outdoor seating areas such as a barbecue area/fireplace and pergola. On the plot you can see a saw and a mill from the 19th century powered by hydropower. 1 km from the apartment is freshwater with canoe, fishing, swimming area and lean-to.

A steep staircase leads up to two small rooms and a toilet in the loft above our storage room/carpenter's shop (shower at the entrance). Fridge and water boiler available. Bed linen and towels are not included (available for rent SEK 100/guest). The guest cleans and throws away garbage after themselves. Pets allowed. Check yourself in with the lockbox. Check-in from 4:00 p.m. Check-out before 11:00 am
