We were 10 people for a bachelor party, and we had a great time in Rödvattnet.

Matilda was extremely welcoming! She made me waffles, cream, jam, tea and honey on my arrival. She invited me for breakfast in the morning and even packed me a sandwich to take away. You can tell she loves people, very caring and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here, I had a whole house to myself as there were no other guests. I’m returning for a second night because of how excellent it was staying there. The house has an old charm and the single beds are cosy and clean.

Coming back next year

I think, the stay at Mathildas and Rolfs AirBnB was the best Airbnbexperience i've ever had. The rooms were beautiful, the ktchen well equiped and the bed was cozy. But the best at the stay was Rolf and Mathilda. Even if the would not have to, they made several times food for me with things out their own garden. It was delicious! They are such heartwarming persons, you are just feeling good and recovered if you leave. I really felt like if i was in their family what was really good after travelling solo for quit some time. I also could join a picknick on a boat with Rolf, Mathilda and some other habitants of the village. Enjoing the sunset and the food (homemade of Mathilda) on the lake, it was truly wonderful. Also the talks with the two about the life swedish lapland was very interesting. To end it, I would recommend everyone a stay at Mathildas and Rolfs Airbnb to recover from the everydaylife and just to spend some beautiful days in wonderful natur next to a lake. Once again, thank you Mathilda and Rolf, i'll surely come again. your such wonderful persons, all the best! nicolas

Great and convenient accommodation for our traveling techniques.

Matilda is a wonderful host, able to create a super friendly environment around her and her lovely home.

A pleasant mix of old and luxurious decor.. we 2 enjoyed the huge house with horses, birds chirping and the nice hosts who are neighbors.. Recommended for all who love the country.

We spent a fabulous 9 days in Leif and Pia's cottage. There was plenty of room for us, a family of 5. The accommodation was even better than on the pictures. Our sons loved the projector home cinema and gaming consoles. Plus it was fantastic to have access to a sea kayak to explore the island. Pia and Leif were extremely welcoming and their local tips were invaluable. We'd love to come back and experience the place in winter!

A totally magical property! As in a different world… You think about all the years the house has been there, all that has happened under its roof. Be very secluded and calm, the nights filled with birds chirping and beautiful skies. Even the toilet was an experience :) Friendly and very accommodating host. In every way a hit!

Anna and Yendrik are very lovely and helpful hosts! If you have any questions, you can always write to them and you get an answer quickly. They also offered us help with translating or tips for beautiful locations. We took the sledding tour with the huskies and got a lot of information about the sport and their dogs. The area we drove through is also indescribably beautiful! So that you do not get cold while preparing for the tour as a guest, you can pick up the dogs and relax them yourself in the team. This brings you closer to the huskies. The home was really super clean. We lacked nothing. The aurora lights, a little above the cabin, were also super nice! A supermarket is only 20 minutes away by car, so you can eat well. We highly recommend the cabin and thank you for the lovely hospitality! 🫶🏻

A nice place for persons who like farm environments. Marie is very easy going and there are lots of animals around.

Mona’s place is comfortable and clean with serene surroundings. We had a good rest and the place is spacious even for 6 people. We enjoy the breakfast and her marmalade is delicious. We had a great time there.

The place is definitely worth visiting for a peaceful getaway. The host showed an ideal way of communication - fast, concrete, exact.

Wonderful and super-clean accomodation with all amenities that are needed. The location is wunderful for walks and by car just a few Minutes from Pitea which is very nice!

Wolfgang and Ewa’s place near Hammerdal is up there with one of the greatest airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Believe all the other reviews, and mine. This place is worth the trip and worth your time. Thanks to Wolfgang and Ewa too, they are excellent hosts and so, so friendly. I hope one day to return!
