Guesthouse holiday rentals in Vänern

This was a wonderful place to stay - about a ten minute walk from the late and city center, but the walk itself is also beautiful (cobblestone paths, hedgehogs, park). They were very helpful when I couldn’t find the salt (it’s in the lightbulb!) and friendly upon arrival (though it’s also self check-in). Would definitely recommend!

Very clean and fresh accommodation in a cozy rural environment. The cottage was very spacious and we could easily have spent several days there.

We were on a tour in southern Sweden and unfortunately only 2 days here. An absolute recommendation from us for this great house with wonderful views of Lake Örlen. Simply fantastic when you sit on the terrace in the evening and the sun sets over the lake! The kitchen is fully equipped. Approximately 2 minutes walk to the swimming area. Very straightforward check-in and check-out. Fredrik greeted us very warmly in person and gave us great tips for excursions (recommendation from us: drive to the Tiveden National Park hiking!).

Lovely and private apartment which was very clean. Also, there were all the equipment in the apartment what you may need & bed was comfortable. Highly recommended!

Super nice and calm Airbnb. I can only recommend it. Great view of the lake and the garden. The landlady is very friendly and the accommodation is super clean. The two cats on the property are also very sweet and well-behaved. It all worked out perfectly.

We enjoyed our stay here. Check-in is very easy, location is convenient with easy access to Karlstad and a supermarket nearby and the house itself is cosy and comfortable. Andreas and Camilla were nice, friendly and responsive.

We travelled from Jenny's accommodation to Tiveden National Park, as well as explored the exciting surroundings of Forsvik - there is much to discover. The Schlachthaus is very quiet and is very nicely furnished. Unfortunately, small details such as toilet paper, baking paper or salt and pepper are missing in the kitchen. We would definitely return!

Everything met our expectations! Cozy cottage on a cozy plot. We especially liked the cool chickens that roamed freely! Very nice hosts. Close to bus connection, it was quick to get to Gothenburg!

Nice windproof and quiet place with wonderful panoramic views. The veranda with windows is a very nice place to sit. Deer and badgers seen nearby and you can relax and walk in this place. Digital contact with host went well, instructions for arrival and closing were clear so you can do both at your own time.

Anneli was a lovely host and made sure we felt at home. We loved using the sauna & her home had everything we needed to feel comfortable. While we didn’t use them, the kids toys, books, highchair were an added touch - definitely the perfect stay for a small family with kids.

Clean house. Very relaxing environment. Hosts 10/10. Beware hot water runs fast for 2 people, but other than that it was excellent! We will definitively come back next summer.
