Family-friendly holiday rentals in Upper Austria

A great place to stay! We stayed with 5 people for a relaxing weekend and felt very comfortable. The apartment was just as described and very clean!! The jacuzzi, the steam showers and the view from the balcony are of course a great luxury. There are a few beautiful lakes and hikes in the area. All in all great and we would like to come again. :)

Stunning apartment that was even more amazing than the photos! The only problem was that our stay was too brief to enjoy the flat!

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

Beautiful, luxurious home located in one of the most beautiful places in the world. We loved our stay and wished we would have booked it for longer. Super clean and quiet.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. Helmut is a great host and responsive. His instructions and written documentation in the apartment very helpful if it is your first visit to Salzburg.

The stay at Marianne's cottage was excellent. Accommodation was easy to find and ideal as a base for hikes. Marianne impressed with warm hospitality and very good recommendations for hiking in the surrounding area. Definitely would recommend!

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we had so far, without doubt. We were a group of 3. The apartment is located in a calm and pristine setting, surrounded by mountains and meadows, providing a visual treat. Gisele as a host also made us feel home and provided a lot of tips to make the best use of our time there. The apartment is squeaky clean, with a lot of plants and nice decor. The backyard with the mountain view and deers coming to the fence, is also a wonderful addition. Over three days we visited Salzburg, Hallstatt and St. Bartholomew’s church in Königsee, which are all just above 60 minutes drive from the place. We also spent a day walking around the small village of Lichtenberg, which was also an unforgettable experience itself. We hope to be able to visit again in one of the summers, where one could also swim in one of the many lakes surrounding the area. Overall, the stay is worth every penny and we would gladly recommend it.

Beautiful appartement with a great view! Lots of space, very quiet, balconies to enjoy sun all day long. About 30 minutes walk to the old town with beautiful paths and parks. The place is very well equiped and we had everything we needed. Only down side was construction noise near by during the morning. We would come back anytime.

Actually, one word is enough to say everything about this place, the hosts and the area: all-round feel-good experience! We had a fantastic stay in Steyrling in the beautiful, cozy apartment of Micha and Christina. Everything was totally straightforward and we always got help if we had a question. It was a relaxed togetherness and you can tell at every point that Micha and Christina want to make their guests happy with a lot of passion – this goes from the amenities of the apartment to tips on the region to care. If you are looking for peace, nature, outdoor activities and impeccable accommodation, this is the place. We will be happy to come back! a stunning break in the Austrian countryside after a busy 5 days in Vienna - surroundings were perfect and the whole family were incredibly friendly. the farmhouse was beautiful!!

We had a great stay at Petra's place. Everything was perfect; right from the friendly welcome until the nice tee we had at the terrace at the end of our stay. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay for a week in Salzburg. Dagmar is an excellent host and takes true care to ensure you are comfortable. She is an excellent communicator and her supply of recommendations is endless. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It was very comfortable and easy to walk to town and the ferry. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

We arrived with six people for a ski vacation. We liked the house very much; on the sunny side of the valley, with many animals on the farm (dog, cats, calves, cows,...), very nice hosts (we even bought a better cheese grater because we wanted to make cheese spaetzle) and a cozy atmosphere (underfloor heating and lots of wood). We'd go back any time! Next time we would probably bring small bedside lamps for extra coziness :) A special highlight was also the sauna. Warm recommendation.

Beautiful corner, close to Salzburg, Krispl is charming, quiet. Toni is adorable, and very homey.

We had a wonderful time staying at Christiane's place. We rented the top floor apartment which had some absolutely amazing views of the mountains and hillside. Christiane met us when we arrived and explained everything. She even shared a few toys and a small play area with our children. The house was completely spotless and had everything we needed. It was a mere 10 min to the small town nearby for cappuccinos and fresh bakery. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much!

We enjoyed the whole family staying in a beautiful place. Our 2 year old son who loved the animals on the farm the most. Thomas was very friendly and even allowed him to go to the bunnies, set things up for toasting, and was available when we needed anything. Perfect for families with kids. Possibility of swimming in the pool, toasting and available playground, toys, pool and trampoline at any time. Toys are also present in the apartment. The kitchen is 100% equipped. The location is perfect for various activities - swimming in the lakes, cycling, hiking. We'd love to come back again. The hosts even sent us a forgotten charge home. Thank you!

The apartment is quiet and easily accessible, lovingly and modernly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. We felt at home at Ann's first moment and enjoyed staying with her very much! Ann is a wonderful host, she always shared with us with questions, even an appointment for the veterinarian she made clear for us with her doc when our dog needed dogs. Thank you, we would love to come back!

Great big place and very easy to get to downtown!

Pleasant and well-equipped apartment in the suburbs of Bad Mitterndorf. All perfect. The only shame was that the swimming pool offered was closed for technical reasons - but that was out of the host's control.
