The Salzach river is right in front of the apartment and is perfect for walks up and down the river, or boat trips. The Wöhrsee in Burghausen is great for swimming in summer and ice bathing in winter. The “Burghausen Castle” (the longest castle in the world!) is definitely worth a visit.
