A double bedroom for 2 guests - cot available for under 2s - on the first floor. Sole use of WC next to the room and a private bathroom downstairs. Slippers and robes are provided free of charge as you have to walk through the house. There is a dedicated sitting area on the landing with views of the large garden. A wide range of teas and coffees are available in the room. Free Wi-Fi. A delicious continental breakfast is included and taken in the dining room, which dates back to 1620.

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

Circa 1780, The Smithy is part of a Grade II listed, thatched property. Recently extended, it is now a cosy, light-filled, self-contained annex with private access, ideal from which to explore the beautiful North Devon countryside. Accessed via steps to a stable door is a relaxing living/dining space, a double bed on a mezzanine floor and a small shower room. Guests have access to a small patio with seating in the cottage's lovely gardens.
