Cabin holiday rentals in Tahoe City

Last minute trip was a great success! My family loves visiting Tahoe city and this location served the kids and the adults well. Lots of games and plenty of activities for family fun. Hot tub was a huge bonus! We’d definitely return to this lovely and perfectly decorated home

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was immaculately clean — truly spotless — and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the management had gone above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and VRA team was both responsive and considerate. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience — we would definitely stay here again!

We were in David's house for a ski trip to Palisades Tahoe. The place was great value, in a great location (very close to Palisades), and had everything we needed. Even though David was traveling at the time, he stayed in touch and had clear instructions for checking in and out. Would visit again!

We had a great stay at Shannon & Quentin’s property, wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house/property is very clean, nicely decorated/appointed, and a really good location. Would definitely stay again!

The place was really great. It had everything including the utensils, towels, barbecue, and many more.

Very cozy and quaint place. There’s a lake just at a walking distance from the house. Robert is an extremely polite and friendly host and very responsive to all questions. We have 2 dogs and Robert was so thoughtful to provide toys, poop bags and even fur combs! There’s fun board games as well. A very nice stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Tahoe (30 mins only) or just chilling.

Chris let us check in early. That was much appreciated. We did not realize we could walk across the street to Gar Woods.. a restaurant we frequent when we visit Tahoe. The place was clean and matched the photos. We used all 4 bedrooms for our 3 families and enjoyed spending time together. We lucked out on both weather and traffic.

We spent our wedding night at the cabin. It was a beautiful peaceful way to end our big day. The cabin is very cozy and homey. The view in the morning was amazing. The cabin itself has a great theme and touches. Had everything we could need. I could see this becoming an annual stay every year to celebrate our anniversary.

Nice house with a great room and 2 bedrooms, just the right size for a family. It was ideal for a skiing trip to Northstar for me and my 2 children. The hot tub was nice and clean and felt great after a day of skiing. There is a nice gas fireplace that was both cheery and warmed up the room and helped dry out our snow pants. The location is great for getting to both Northstar and downtown Kings Beach - note that you do have to get over a pass to get to Northstar, so in the winter bring your chains or AWD car in case of weather. It feels professionally run - the hosts were proactive about communication and quickly responsive. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

Beautiful surroundings - wildlife all around the cabin and very peaceful. A short walk to the lake and a regional park. Cabin was kitted out with a full kitchen and all the amenities.

Chelsea's home is as advertised. My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect setting for a quiet birthday celebration for my dad. We all were able to enjoy the lake and the peaceful scenery. The bedrooms were a nice size and the restrooms were clean. The mattress in the main room was a bit too firm for me. I decided to sleep upstairs on one of the softer beds. There are grocery stores 10 minutes out so we utilized the kitchen for most of our meals. The kitchen had everything I needed. The house manual was easy to follow and included some information on pet-friendly beaches which we appreciated since we had our pup with us. I LOVED the private beach access and dock. We had our paddle board and kayak and spent a lot of time in the water. My daughter enjoyed jumping off the dock and making friends with some of the other kids there (not a lot of kids...just the right amount to keep her entertained but not overwhelm me). I hope to make this trip an annual event!

Great spot to stay for a weekend in Tahoe. The home was spotless and Niccole was super easy to communicate with for instructions for the house. Would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful place to stay in Tahoe! Well stocked kitchen, good washer/dryer, cozy atmosphere. Katie was a great communicator. They even have nice cast iron pans! Highly recommend.

Great stay would definitely recommend to others very clean and the easiest Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Great location for a stay close to beach and close to really good restaurants and coffee shops would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!

What a beautiful place! This is a rare Airbnb that’s even prettier than the photos. Rene was very communicative and we felt very at-home for our weekend there. Such a cozy place to relax while hitting the slopes.

Our stay at this charming A frame cabin couldn’t have been more perfect. We wanted a weekend immersed in nature but also close enough to access plenty of restaurants and things to do, and this location was perfect! The view was jaw dropping and most times we didn’t even want to leave the house and just wanted to enjoy it from our stunning porch! The photos of the view didn’t even do it justice - it was magical. If we ever come back to the area we’d stay here again without a doubt.

A picturesque retreat in the forest! I kept thinking throughout our stay, this is exactly what an AirBnB should be. Carter & Shelby, unbelievably responsive and communicative hosts, have thought of everything a weary traveler could need, and want, from chargers galore, to a superb shower, to games which kept the whole family entertained. Little touches - Netflix is signed in; power strips by the bed; labels on the organic spice drawer in the kitchen - make enjoying the space utterly seamless. And you really feel like you’re in the middle of the Tahoe forest, because you are.

Its a beautiful place to stay, the view of golf club just from your backyard is so beautiful its hard to describe the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It was so close to grocery store literally a walk away especially when you are staying with kids it comes in handy. The beach is also a walk away, amazing coffee places also a walk away. So basically you don’t need to think twice before booking this place!!! Susan was extremely accommodating with checkin and checkout. It was a pleasure staying at her house.

Susan was a wonderful host! The Tall Trees Cabin is such a well-situated space in a great location and was absolutely spotless when we checked in. It’s close to beaches, hiking, and playgrounds, and was stocked with everything we needed to play indoors, in the yard, and at the beach, relax, cook, and grill. She also had the best recommendations for hikes and beaches and restaurants - it was our first time to Lake Tahoe and we found some hidden gems from her lists! Susan communicates thoroughly and always responds quickly. She also delighted my kids by setting out some fun snacks for them to enjoy. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. We hope to be back soon! Thank you, Susan!
