Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Suomussalmi

Good and inexpensive accommodation for our large group. There was plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. We found everything we needed. There was room for two cars and a trailer.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely house! The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, a car is definitely necessary as it's not within walking distance of amenities. The house itself exceeded our expectations; the photos don't do it justice! It's warm and inviting, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning Northern Lights, visible directly from the doorstep. The only small drawback is that the exterior doors automatically close, so it's crucial to remember your keys. The children were absolutely delighted to have so much space to play in the snow while the Adults enjoyed the time in Sauna:)

A spacious single-family home in a beautiful location on a hillside of danger on the edge of a farmhouse. A secluded location with a very peaceful place to stay. Very kind and responsive host. I'd love to stay in the same place again.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about a 15-minute drive away. But with appropriate planning, that's no problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

Friendly welcome. Apartment in an old stone floor house, minimum furnishings, but a good bed was important. The hostess kindly arranged an electric place for the car, a special thank you.

Everything was very good

Very nice and peaceful place. Communication with hosts went smoothly. Recommended. The circulating air cook has not been cleaned from an earlier guest, but it was overcome when we washed it ourselves before using it.

The villa swamp is a stunning, museum-like haven of peace and nature. Hunting land can be found nearby and you can really enjoy your vacation in peace. Carrying water and no-electricity is suitable for this place. Alex is great hosts and ready to help if needed. Everything went just as planned.

At the beginning of June, Ukkohalli was particularly peaceful and there were no other tourists nearby. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. Special mentions of the possibility of charging an electric car (although we did not need it on this trip) and two electric bicycles. Board and video games and karaoke equipment provided entertainment for the evening.

We were on a family holiday together with four children and we camped in this amazing cottage. We can really recommend this place to other families with children! A wonderfully cozy and homely cottage in a quiet location. There are a lot of common activities in the cottage, e.g. various games. The sauna got a good steam!

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

The house is very new and corresponds to the pictures. We felt right at home! If you like peace and seclusion ( for people from the city ), this is the place to be. The extra charge for the hot tub is worth it.

Adorable little cottage in privacy and still a short distance from everything. Excellent sauna. Marjametsä was right next door and reindeer saw, once even almost in front of the stairs of the cottage. I recommend this place to everyone. I'd love to come back.

A chalet by the water is magical. In the middle of nature, without any noise, the view of the lake brought zenitude. Short chalet to recommend to all lovers of nature and tranquility

Really nice cottage. The renter answered questions quickly. The fireplace was wonderful. Small stairs left the side of the cottage, along which you could easily reach the hiking trails near the lake
