Just fabulous! We’ve stayed in lots of AirBnBs - but the cleanliness of Jill’s cabin was something else. Super clean kitchen and bathroom - not a speck of dust! The cabin feels very homely. You can really tell that Jill & her family love it. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great (she even provides shampoo etc) and the wintery views across the frozen lake were spectacular! We cooked all our own meals in her well stocked kitchen and enjoyed reading curled up on the enormous beanbags. All in all a very relaxing place to escape from busy lives. I bet it’s even better in summer when you can use the expansive deck and cook outside.

Such a sweet, well-equipped space. Everything was neat & tidy, and John's place had everything we could possibly need for our 3-night stay. Loved the drip coffee maker (other guests might prefer the Keurig), but the choice was there. Thanks for that option! Wildlife in backyard was just what we hoped for and proved an endless fascination for our dog. We will most definitely book John's home again if it is available the next time we are in the Wurtsboro area.

Our two families stayed in this house together and had a very happy few days. The house was cozy, and I especially loved the large glass door by the bed. The living room offered a great view of the open town below, which was also wonderful. We enjoyed grilling meat on the terrace and lighting a bonfire outside, making great memories. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing. I believe each of the four seasons would have its own charm. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

My job extended my work contract and I needed a place to stay. When I booked this place I was excited! it looked quite and peacful, and perfect. I did not realize how true this would be. to say this place was perfect is an understatement. i felt right at home. To be honest, I didn't want to leave. Brian was absolutely amazing. Responded right away if I needed somthing, and was just so kind. As I said this was a perfect peaceful experience! I loved being surrounded by nature, seeing all the wild animals come through, and loved sitting fire side at night. I truly hope and cannot wait to go back. It is nice to know there is a place out there that feels like home with wonderful people around you.
