With a ten-minute car or train ride from Simrishamn is the village of Gärsnäs, where this fantastic house of 120 sqm with a large patio is rented out for the 3rd year. The residence is about a 1-minute walk from the train station, which has good connections to Simrishamn but also to Ystad and further to Copenhagen. In Gärsnäs, there is a café, grocery store and gas station. It is possible to purchase a departure cleaning and this is booked before arrival, if you want to clean yourself, this should be done carefully before departure.

Skåneleden (SL4) runs just below the house. 5 km south is Simrishamn with restaurants, cafes and shops. To the north you take the wonderful boardwalk in Carl von Linnaeus's footsteps towards the fishing community Vik. Proximity to fantastic sandy beaches and all the small gems that Österlen can offer. The wooden house

Träskhuset is an architect-designed house built in 2023. It is built of cross-glued wood and stands on posts in a swamp with the beech forest as the closest neighbor. In winter, you are surrounded by water, in summer, high vegetation. Here you live in a stylish house overlooking the forest. Design by Sorgenfri Build Concept. Free parking on a shared driveway. Electric vehicle charging available. The house is about 50 meters from our own house. Happy children's screams can therefore sometimes be heard nearby.

The farm includes a vineyard. Distance to Gärsnäs 3 km, with ICA shop pastry shop, ATM, train station and bus stop. Train every hour to Simrishamn and Ystad. 10 km to Gyllebosjön with nice swimming and hiking area. 20 km to Borrbystrand by the sea with fantastic sandy beach. Dogs are welcome but cost 50 SEK/day

Surrounded by famous beaches, nature reserves, renowned bakeries and cafes, farm shops, fresh fish and even a Michelin star restaurant. Across the cobble courtyard we produce our own organic ice cream. It is a gastro tourist paradise.

Welcome to Österlen and this beautiful house called Bengta Per Lars Torp, named after the people who lived here during 18th century. This house is the perfect spot to explore Österlen and at the same time find peace and quiet during your stay. The house has a spacious kitchen for cooking and living area with a cosy fireplace. Outside you can enjoy the private garden with direct access to the lush forest and the serenity of nature.
