Great house overlooking the fjord from 2 terraces. House has 2 floors with great rooms and large living/dining area. Super good kitchen equipment with coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and microwave. Very cozy living area. 2 bathrooms. Perfect location for trips to Stavanger, Lysefjord and hikes to Preikestolen. Our hosts were very friendly. Great communication. Thanks so much 🙏

This was a lovely, large, family friendly home in a quiet neighborhood with the sea and beautiful views of the mountains right outside the back door. There is common green space with walking trails and play areas for children. Grethe connected ahead of our visit to ensure the house was set up for all guests and left toys available for the young children. She responded to any questions very quickly. Our third stay in this house in Haugesund was truly memorable. The perfect blend of peace, nature, and family-friendly activities made it an ideal place for our children. They loved playing in the spacious garden, and we all enjoyed kayaking, fishing and boating in the beautiful surroundings. The location also offered the convenience of being just 15 minutes from the city, which allowed us to explore Haugesund and visit family with ease. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful—always available and genuinely caring, which made us feel right at home. Communication was smooth, and everything was well-prepared upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better balance between relaxation, outdoor adventure, and accessibility. Highly recommended for families looking for a restful yet active getaway.

The stay at John's house was great. I was there with my family and we enjoyed the big house in nature. John and his wife are very friendly and kind. They even brought us fresh fruits from their garden. :)

It's a stunning and peaceful place, with an amazing and private terrace on the fiord. The house is really cozy and well equiped and the owners' instructions were super helpful and accurate. We loved the surrounding nature, exploring the fiord with the boat we rent, and the hot tub😍. Best airbnb ever! A corner of paradise! We look forward to visiting again! ❤️

What a awesome spot! If i could i would give this house and the host 6 stars! Solveig literally thought of everything. So many nice places to sit and enjoy the breathtaking views. We enjoyed kayaking in the fjord with the kids, and also caught alot of large fish (cod) right in front of the house. The private beach was a paradise for the kids and they were busy all day catch small 🦀 and 🐟. long story short.. Perfect!

Great place, great host!

This place is unique. It is located in a secluded location in the archipelago and is easily accessible only by boat. If you are in nature and the sea, this is the place to be. We were there with 10 people and the accommodation is completely large enough for this. One 40 hp boat and another with 5 hp are really fun. Life vests a sup and fishing gear were also available. Everyone loved it. In case of rain or storm, the crossing can be a bit difficult.

A really great view from all rooms. For an extra charge you could rent a hot tub and kayaks. We didn't want to miss either and didn't regret it. We have nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and modern. We would recommend the house for maximum 4 people due to the seating inside. The path down to the house can certainly become a challenge due to the gradient in winter. Fully loaded and back at Morgentau, we briefly had some rubber smell in our nose. In our time, there was no direct neighbor present. The TV worked with its own FireTV stick. Kitchen equipment was great. In our case there were little touches such as waffle dough, chocolate and coffee. Even dishwashing tablets, toilet paper and paper towels were available in addition to dishwashing utensils and spices. Rarely experienced. In the freezer, even wild blueberries. A dream. Only an extractor hood would be useful. Would highly recommend!
