The house is west facing with a view to the sea and only a few meters down to the seafront. Below the house is a nice, spacious garden and on the upside lawn up to the road. The house is built around 1970, and is characterized by some retro style. Kitchen is renovated in 2024 and there is a new floor in the kitchen/living room and new windows facing south. New roof is under planning. It is possible to hire a boat and kayaks for trips on the fjord in the community. Otherwise, there are many nice hiking opportunities on foot both in the community and the district otherwise.

Utstein Lodge is beautifully located down by Klostervågen at Utstein Gard. The farm surrounds Utstein Monastery and makes up the majority of Utstein Island. Utstein is a protected cultural environment and has special national value with the cultural history, landscape and agricultural elements that characterize the area. At Utstein there are animals inland and cultural pastures all year round and limited access to traffic. It is possible to watch/participate in the farm operations. The hiking opportunities are many, short distance to the Pulpit rock and the Kjerag.

You can lie in the bathtub and look out over the horizon, and have your morning coffee in bed while watching the waves hit the swamp in the garden. It takes 5-7 minutes to drive to Pulpit Rock Camp, 5 minutes to the center of Jørpeland and 30 minutes to Stavanger city center.

Welcome to Byre. Byre is a small island with 4 families and just under 100 cabins. The island is not landfast, but has calls for both ferry and fast bats. The cabin is located about 300 meters from the quay, so here it is possible to come both with and without a car. There is a hiking trail around the island and there are several swimming opportunities. There is no shop on the island, but in the summer there is a small farm outlet with organic vegetables. Remember to shop for anything you need before you enter.

Cozy cabin right at the shore of the sea with lovely sunrise. Feel free to take the morning bath to the meals on the terrace with a lovely view of the fjord. The cabin is centrally located whether you want to spend your days shopping, fishing or going for fantastic mountain hikes such as Pulpit Rock, Kjerag and Flørlitrappene. There are also many other marked hiking trails nearby such as Uburen, Hatten, Hesten, Skjerajuvet etc. Beach, Forsand with shop, Landa ancient village just nearby.

It is located in scenic surroundings with stunning panoramic views and a short way to the beach. You have to walk about 100m in terrain from the parking lot. ( Some may find it steep.)
