Welcome to Byre. Byre is a small island with 4 families and just under 100 cabins. The island is not connected to the mainland, but has access to both ferry and express boat. The cabin is located about 300 m from the quay, so here it is possible to come both with and without a car. There is a hiking trail around the island and there are several bathing opportunities. There is no store on the island, but in the summer there is a small farm sale with organic vegetables. Remember to shop for everything you need before you travel in.
