Utstein Lodge is beautifully located down by Klostervågen at Utstein Gard. The farm surrounds Utstein Monastery and makes up the majority of Utstein Island. Utstein is a protected cultural environment and has special national value with the cultural history, landscape and agricultural elements that characterize the area. At Utstein there are animals inland and cultural pastures all year round and limited access to traffic. It is possible to watch/participate in the farm operations. The hiking opportunities are many, short distance to the Pulpit rock and the Kjerag.

Welcome to Byre. Byre is a small island with 4 families and just under 100 cabins. The island is not landfast, but has calls for both ferry and fast bats. The cabin is located about 300 meters from the quay, so here it is possible to come both with and without a car. There is a hiking trail around the island and there are several swimming opportunities. There is no shop on the island, but in the summer there is a small farm outlet with organic vegetables. Remember to shop for anything you need before you enter.

It is located in scenic surroundings with stunning panoramic views and a short way to the beach. You have to walk about 100m in terrain from the parking lot. ( Some may find it steep.) You also get access to the boathouse with a small living room and private beach. Motor boat and 2kajaks. The beautiful photos in the cabin are for sale.
