On the way down to a nice swimming area you can see and explore Southwest Norway's largest concentration of rock carving fields. Sheep and lamb can be experienced from close proximity. Åmøy is also a good starting point if you want to visit famous places such as Utstein Kloster, Prekestolen, Sola beaches, Ørnhaug visiting farm or Kongeparken.

The cabin is brand new - designed and built by myself, and of course with the help of friends and family. Bjørheimsheia offers amazing nature experiences. You just need to walk straight out the front door to start directly into marked hiking trails. The park chair is located about 15 minutes drive away. Jørpeland Sentrum is about 10 minutes drive away.

Wood-burning stove inside and outdoor wood fireplace. All bedrooms have light-proof sun shading.

Slap af i denne sjarmerende og rolige hytte på Åmøy med utsikt over fjorden. Den røde og hvide hytte har alt hvad en trenger for at senke skuldrene og få pulsen ned. Hytten rommer en koselig stue med vedovn. En stejl stige føre op til anden etagen hvor der er sove avdeling med dobbeltseng, en arbeidspult og en garderobe avdeling med en enkelt seng. Bad med varmt vann. I hagen er der egen vedfyrt badstue med panorama utsikt over fjorden. Der utover er der et koselig anneks med en dobbeltseng.

The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

Gamlahuset by the sea - close to Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" fra cirka 1880 leies ut. Huset ligger på et lite gårdstun i Gardsvågen på Talgje, 100 meter fra sjøen. Her er det badestrand, og det går turløyper rundt nesten hele øya. Fra Gardsvågen er det 1 km til hurtigbåtkai. Herfra er det 20-50 min med hurtigbåt til Stavanger. Det er 35 minutt med bil til Stavanger sentrum. På Talgje er det også muligheter for frisbeegolf og badstuutleige (Anker Gaard) og det er sandvolleyballbane 1 km fra huset.
