In the area there are various restaurants, pub and bar within a 5 minute walk. If you want to take a walk to the city center, this is a 15 minute walk or 4 - 5 minutes by bus. In the apartment there are some private things, like clothes. Own creators for guests are labeled. Boat trip can also be rented via host. This has to be talked about beforehand

On the way down to a nice swimming area you can see and explore Southwest Norway's largest concentration of rock carving fields. Sheep and lamb can be experienced from close proximity. Åmøy is also a good starting point if you want to visit famous places such as Utstein Kloster, Prekestolen, Sola beaches, Ørnhaug visiting farm or Kongeparken.

Its 2-6 minutes walk to city center, harbour, railway and buses. Several grocery stores and restaurants 40-80 m away.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

This is as close as you can get to Lysefjorden, and the view is just stunning. There is a big terrace in front of the guesthouse where you can relax or enjoy your meal after a day og hiking, kayaking or just exploring the region. We have recently (2024) renovated the basement of the house where we live ourselves and are now ready to welcome guests who want to visit this handsome city! We are a family of 5 who live upstairs, so some noise from children's feet running across the floor must be expected. In return, we can offer what is needed for a nice stay with good beds, spacious rooms and a well equipped kitchen. There is free parking in the carport and the possibility of charging an electric car.
