Bästekille is a small village located at a high altitude between Södra Mellby and Vitaby. It is 3 km to Kivik and about 18 km to Simrishamn. There are apple orchards and grazing cows here. In the village, there is a farm shop with eggs, potatoes and vegetables according to the season. Everything is certified by the farmer in the village. The Fabriken art gallery is located in the village. In southern Mellby, there is a bakery where you can buy delicious pastries and bread. The nearest places to swim are Kivik or Vitemölla, where there are beautiful sandy beaches. The cottage is located by a road.

Welcome to Lilla Sjövik, our charming guest house from 1930, about 30 sqm. Within walking distance to Kivik harbor, swimming, restaurants, cafés, bakery, shops and grocery store. Enjoy lovely walks along the sea and in the beautiful surroundings. It is only a short drive to golf, flea/antique market, Stenshuvud National Park, etc. Kitchenette for simple cooking Small patio in the southwest with barbecue grill. Private entrance. Wi-Fi and Chromecast are available. I live in one barn and my sister in the other. So there can be a bit of hustle and bustle, but we are nice and easygoing. A cat may come for a visit. Welcome to our guest house, which we call Brygghuset, because there was a red brewery building on the site before we built the house in 2022. It is located in a somewhat secluded spot in a large, lush garden belonging to Villa Solbacken, our permanent residence in Skogsdala, Kivik. From the house, it is within walking distance to Kivikviks harbor, beach and restaurants. It is important to note that the house has a steep staircase to the loft and no gates, so it is not childproof. At our place, guests clean themselves and bring their own sheets
