Incredibly beautiful and quiet place. View directly towards the sea, which was great to enjoy in the hot tub as well as sitting in the kitchen and living room. Possible to walk along the water. The house was both clean and well-equipped. Convenient with code lock instead of key. Easy and smooth communication with the landlord. Always responded very quickly to our questions.

We spent our entire summer vacation on this wonderful island. It actually looks as nice as described in the photos. Malin showed us everything great and always got back to us quickly and took care of any questions. We won't soon forget the many beautiful sunsets and boat trips. It was a great vacation and we can very well imagine coming back again. We will miss the jacuzzi very much! 😉

We spent a long weekend at Sacha's house. The garden and patio were much better than we had imagined. Our dog could run loose in the fenced garden with his football. It was fresh and everything we needed was there. Sacha arranged for his neighbour to bring wood so we could build a fire and burn it in the fireplace as it was a little chilly when we arrived. I have booked to go back in the autumn! The grill was not cleaned but Sacha had flagged it and the sauna was very sooty but we could fix it ourselves. The only one that wasn't tip-top.

The small cottage matches the descriptions. The whirlpool, which always kept the right temperature, and the good connection with public transport to Stockholm are worth mentioning. There are also extensive hikes in the nearby forest or swimming opportunities in the lake or the natural outdoor swimming pool in the forest. We felt very comfortable. The house is quietly located on the mountain.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy accommodation. Everything essential was provided (except for a hairdryer), and the space was clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and accommodating — even small individual requests, like providing a towel for swimming in the lake, were happily fulfilled. Communication was excellent, with quick response times. The location is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle, yet still reachable by public transport, with about a 15-minute walk from the nearest stop. The view — especially at sunset — is absolutely priceless. I would definitely come back!

We had some great days in the Tailor's Shop! Completely undisturbed location with beautiful surroundings. The cottage was even better than in the pictures! The host Anders was kind and helpful. Communication with him was quick and smooth. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who appreciates seclusion and natural environments but still proximity to larger cities/communities. We made a day trip to the zoo park, among other things.

Me and a group of friends rented this cabin for a weekend and it was great. Beautiful location, great access to the lake for swimming and overall just a very nice place to hang out. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and really want you to have a great time. Bonus points for letting us use their SUPs and kayak. We totally want to come back another time!

Jane is a wonderful host. Warm welcome. We fired up the oven because of the bad weather and had good conversations. We would have liked to have had more time.

Michael and his beautiful family are the best of the best for hosts in the Airbnb world. They are warm and welcoming, intelligent and interesting, there to help with something if you need it, but they also give you all the space you want. The cottage is incredibly special--a GEM. I wanted to shrink it down and pack it in my suitcase to take with me! It is charm embodied--full of thoughtful historical touches done by Michael and his father during the renovation. While modestly sized, the cottage was perfect for us and had all of the amenities we needed. Located in a lush and secluded corner of their garden, it is surrounded by flowers and green out every window, and your parking space is only a few steps away. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely try and book here again. It's perfect on every level! Thank you, Michael!

Patricia’s barn is super lovely, in a beautiful country environment right on a lake. If you want sometime out to just relax this is it! It’s also only 2 hours out if Stockholm and 10 mins to shops. Patricia was wonderful - very lovely - we hope to come back in summer!

beautiful cottage in the middle of nature! We stayed here for a little over a week and saw several wild animals: deer, cranes, wild boar, and a squirrel. The cottage was full of comforts and very clean. Check-in was very easy. With nice weather, you can sit under the canopy. The owner, Sami, also lives on the property, but you have all the privacy. He is hospitable and responds quickly to questions. Despite the remote location, you can easily reach nice places. The large supermarket is only 15 minutes away by car and by train you can be in the middle of the centre of Stockholm. Ideal! There are also many beautiful walks in the area. We definitely recommend this stay!

Very good holiday time and so relax

Accommodation nestled wonderfully beautifully at the end of a road, less than 50 meters to the water. Easy to communicate with the host. A car is recommended for this type of accommodation. Suitable for long term residents. If you wish peace and quiet then this is the right place for you!

This is the second time we stay at Örjan’s place. Some renovations has been done and there is now a terrasse and some extra beds. The place is beautiful and decorated with good taste. There is everything you need. The hosts are lovely, discreet and helpful.

We had a fantastic autumn weekend in Järnäs. The accommodation was homey and lived up to all our expectations. The host couple were available throughout the stay and cautious that we would have a good time. The sauna at dusk was the icing on the cake. Thank you for having us and enjoying your location!

We used Jonas' accommodation for a visit to Kolmården Park and this accommodation is perfect for that. It is clean and stylishly furnished, the children had plenty of space to play, even outside and the communication with Jonas was great. We can recommend the house.
