After a lovely night in the garden house, breakfast is served on the jetty next to the large pond. With a cup of freshly brewed coffee in your hand, you look out over the beautiful, park-like plot where there is always something exciting to discover. With Lake Mälaren's glittering waters just a short walk away, it's easy to be lured to a swim at Stockbybadet. We are close to the big city but still in the countryside and with walking distance to both a grocery store and a lovely pastry shop, you will be happy to stay a little longer.

Stallet

The small stable that is from the 1600s has been converted into a small guest apartment. There is no running water here, but there is an old-fashioned charming little kitchen with modern equipment. The toilet consists of a modern incineration toilet. A shower with hot water is available in an adjacent building. The farm is located in a quiet ancient village surrounded by forest and arable land, but with idyllic Mariefred and Gripsholm Castle around the corner. On the farm, you get along with dogs, cats, chickens and beehives.

Kakelmakargården B&B, lake view central Mariefred

Room in a courtyard house in a cosy inner courtyard in central Mariefred, with a lake view over Lake Mälaren. The courtyard house is located next to Kakelmakargården, which dates back to the late 18th century. The room has a double bed (which can easily be separated into two single beds) and a sleeping loft (one single bed). Free parking close to the house (1 minute). A few minutes' walk from restaurants and shops. 500 metres to Gripsholm Castle, 300 metres to Tucholsky's grave in Mariefred Cemetery, views of Lake Mälaren.

Vårat gästhus ligger mitt emellan Stockholms flygplats (Arlanda) och Stockholm. På 5 minuter tar du dig till pendeltåget som tar dig till Stockholm på 25 min. Du kommer att älska vårat ställe på grund av denna idyll bestående av gamla hus från början av förra seklet. Boendet rymmer par och familjer (med barn), finns även barnstol + barnsäng. Det finns två golfbanor på promenadavstånd samt närhet till badsjöar. Cyklar finns att låna. Köpcentrum med restaurang och matvaruaffär finns runt hörnet.

Year-round accommodation, 40m2 built in 2016 with all the amenities you could wish for. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, and more. Two bedrooms and a large combined kitchen / living room. Dining table for four. Balcony with sunroof, dining area and sofa group. With the sofa bed you can sleep up to five people in the house, although three adults is optimal, or two adults and two children. AppleTV with premium accounts on Netflix, Disney+ and AppleTV+.

Tranquil place, Swedish design, floor heating, very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, your own out door place with a grill, etc. (It is only 3 KM from Beckershof Castle the weeding place). Lovely dock to go swimming from, canoeing or hike in the woods. Plenty of mushrooms berries in the forests around. Less then 2 hours from Stockholm by car and less then 1 hour by train. It is 45 minutes from Skavsta.
