Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sjusjøen

The cabin is a beautiful spot on earth with a fantastic view. With the two stoves you can create a nice cozy warm cabin, especially when it's bitterly cold outside. We were -18 degrees. The icing on the cake of our stay was the aurora lights we were allowed to see. The proximity to the ski slope was very convenient for us. We were very happy that we did not have to use our snow chains and our car with the good winter tires always made the mountain effortlessly despite snow and ice smoothness.

Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

Beautiful house with great views over Mjøsa. Therese was also very nice and responded quickly if there was anything. I highly recommend this home. All in all a great experience, 10/10. ⭐️ We will be happy to come back 😊

A great villa with many accommodation options. Especially great: the two huge Lego boxes 😍 It took some getting used to that the two bathrooms have separate entrances, but are only separated from each other by a shower curtain. However, this was also described in the property description. Oyvind was also helpful in finding a ski school or recommending restaurants! All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended!

It was a very cozy house that contained everything that was necessary. Was nice and tidy, and just what we needed. A nice house that is nicely located. The host responded to all inquiries quickly and was accommodating.

Nice and spacious apartment on a very idyllic farm! We were lucky enough to get a tour of the farm and got to meet the animals with alpaca, horses and blacknose sheep, among other things. Thank you very much for the visit:)

Cute place that was perfect for our family. Everything we needed and just like pictures and description.

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

Very happy with the stay, we were a group of friends on a trip, and if there was anything I was wondering about, there was quick and efficient communication with the hosts. The cabin was extremely nice and had everything we needed during our stay.

Nice and private, good appliances.

We were there for far too brief a stay. The setting is beautiful. Even for a single overnight, the late check out makes it possible to be a real holiday spot, not just a pleasant place to sleep. We had to wait to get in but Marcus had requested we let him know when we were going to arrive and I neglected to do that so I take some responsibility for that small delay.

We had a very nice week of skiing in the cabin. It is well equipped, functional and fresh. Bonus were the thick and warm duvets that were there.

This log cabin absolutely blew us away, breathtaking scenery, a peaceful wintery idyll but would be equally as beautiful any time of the year. Signs of spring are everywhere - lots of birdsong and flowers coming out. But still we managed to ski - downhill at the ski slope 5 mins away - Perfect for beginners and plenty of cross country routes all around. At the end of a days outside a cosy cabin, fire and hot tub. It really was such a wonderful place, very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Wonderful memories were made - thank you so much!

Amazing cabin! Before we checked in, we thought the cabin was a bit smaller and not as magical and beautiful as it actually was in real life. We arrived at the cabin at night after a long drive. When we made our way into the cabin, it was much larger than expected and we hung ourselves up in every little charming detail such as the cozy cabin book and other info that was printed out and laid out, old skis in the ceiling, a fun wooden stick hanging in the hallway, nicely modern and exclusively furnished with nice furniture, sheepskin, antlers outside over the porch door, delicious duvets and empty hotel pad as well as it was clean and neat. Everything was spot on! It was also lovely that the neighboring cabins were not so close, because when we go on a cabin trip, it is good to have some extra "space" and we got that here. Finally, and not least, a big thank you to the hosts who made us feel so welcome at their cabin. Here we got good info, quick and very friendly responses. A lovely cabin with all facilities on a beautiful remote location. On top of the hill you have a 100km view. The hosts are very friendly and happy to share suggestions. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The cabin has all you need, including a great sauna. For sure we'll be back!

This cabin was perfect for our cross country ski vacation! It was so nice, cozy, quiet and clean inside and had everything we needed. We loved the view of the trees out the windows. It was a short walk to the ski trail. Really enjoyable to be able to ski anywhere in the area from the cabin. Be ready for a bit of uphill first to get to areas like sjusjoen and nordseter but it is totally doable and definitely worth it! We would definitely recommend and would love to stay at this cabin again!
