Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sitia

Theodora’s apartment is hidden gem in Agios Nikolaos. During our stay we realized, there is no better location for families with small kids. It’s right next to beach bar with great beach, in our opinion best within the city and there is even kids playground right next to it. You have 6-7 great local restaurants within 5mins walk + 2 grocery shops. Location is very quiet. Apartment is very well equipped with all you need for shorter or even longer stay (we stayed 1month). Theodora was very friendly, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We can only recommend her and her apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy perfect vacation. Efcharisto Theodora 👍🏻

Very private, no noise from neighbors. We hardly heard any noise from the traffic as the apartment is not directly on the road. We stayed for a week and spent much time on the incredible balcony: you can always find a space in the shade there. We loved the Galini beach nearby. only downside is that you have to walk for 200 meters along the road, as there is no footpath. There is a private beach closer by, but not everyone will be willing to climb down. It's doable for most people, but it is no walk in the park. If you like solitude, or if the Galini beach is too crowded, then certainly try to go the private beach. The WiFi in the apartment and on the balcony is good enough to stream video to one laptop. We had a tremendous time and certainly will come back some time in the future

What a wonderful place!! The view is splendid, a real pleasure to wake up facing the sea! The interior is decorated with taste and refinement and the cleanliness is spotless! Marianthi was extremely kind to make us feel comfortable. A gem I recommend! A real bubble of happiness

When you are 20 steps from the waterfront and a choice of loveley taverna's, there is not much more you could whish for. Oded's place is lovely and we loved sitting in front of it and watch the world go by.

We had a wonderful time in Despina's apartment. We liked everything and felt welcome and comfortable. The description is great, the reality is even better. Despina is always helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the place. I wrote to Despina and she responded immediately. She arranged a meeting place with us. She was already waiting for us there🙏. We definitely want to come back, there is still so much to discover in eastern Crete. Many thanks, dear Despina and best regards to your mom ❤️

Lovely place, quiet, clean. Nikos and his family are taking care of their hosts. The only downside is that there is no washing machine.

We had a great time in Mochlos, a really beautiful village, it’s still a hidden gem I would say. The apartment was lovely, cosy and comfortable, the bar next door was actually really nice and we sat there many times. Recommendation!

Eric and his place in Palekastro are THE BEST. Eric is a perfect host with great local recommendations and a friendly demeanor. He went out of his way to make sure I was well taken care of, and it’s clear that he really loves his village and sharing it with his guests. 100% recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this AirBnb! The highlight is the beautiful sea view and the location right next to the beach. Giorgos also has a nice bar right on the beach and you can use the loungers on the beach for free. The apartment is clean and well equipped. Many restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. The Airbnb is definitely recommend!

Just outside the busy city, quiet, many hiking trails, coffee cafes, and beautiful sunrises from the terrace. I stayed 1 month and highly recommend Panorama Villas.

A beautiful house in a quiet village, only 10 minutes away from the famous Plaka and Elounda. Fully equipped kitchen, with a quite satisfactory welcome/breakfast.

Brand new and clean apartment, matches the description and photographs. Inside there is practically everything you need for your stay (clean towels, paper, scotch, the "fundamentals" in the kitchen such as oil, salt, coffee, etc.). Air conditioners and mosquito nets in all rooms! The apartments are located right in the center of Ierapetra, but in a quiet and quiet street (there are no shops or clubs). Great location for getting around. Great communication with the host, recommended!

A lovely stay at Agios Nikolaos

Perfect little apartment/ bed sit directly over a little dirt track to the beach. Not a private terrace, but that really doesn’t matter as very few cars. We sat outside with a drink or play cards most evening after a day walking and sightseeing. There are sun beds to use at the property which we would take over to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. There is a restaurant next door, which was ok to eat at(it didn’t cause noise) . Lots of lovely restaurants around the next bay, 10 minutes walk. The bed was very comfortable, this was important to me🤗 . The hosts were very kind and helpful, checking via messages that everything was ok. We plan to go again and would recommend the area, hosts and their accommodation.

A great stay in a calm area of stalida. The beach is walkable from the apartment. There are two nice balconies to sit at, and one has shadow at all times on one of them which is very convenient in the heat. There is air condition in the bed room and a large fridge to keep stuff cool. The washing machine and stove are all new and clean. The street in front of the house is ok to park at, but there is no specific parking spots. The back balcony has a view to the sea and we really liked staying there in the evenings to chat. All in all a great stay.

this was a fantastic location, while you're in a busy area the apartment is actually peaceful and relaxing, the jacuzzi is perfect, the views from the balcony are unbelievable and it's a great spot for sunbathing, eating, drinking and relaxing. everyone has been super helpful and communicative from the minute we booked, the shop being downstairs means they are there almost 24/7 if you need anything. from this location there's so many things to do, we went on a bus to heraklion and hired a car and highly recommend agios nikolaos but you can really make your trip whatever you want it to be. thanks for a lovely stay!

The place was sunny, clean, had everything we needed, lots of light and fresh air. The stay was very comfy and in a lovely location, within driving distance to gorgeous beaches and nice restaurants. Thank you!

Manolis's place was optimal for us and our little son (22 months). The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, super clean, the decor thoughtful and appealing. Seeing the sunrise from the balcony every morning was lovely. Around the corner (1min walk) there is a small beach that was perfect for our son. Few waves, crystal-clear water, stones and mussels for playing and a beautiful view of the mountains of East Secreta for the parents. It was just a pity that more plastic was washed up in the last 3 days, which was not the case at all in the first 8 days. From the apartment you can also make wonderful excursions in the area. Good restaurants (the very tasty Arismari 20m as the crow flies from the apartment) and supermarkets are right around the corner. Overall, I really can't fault anything. Manolis was always available, very friendly and was able to help us with questions immediately. We would come back back ♥️

We really enjoyed our stay, Galini was more than welcoming. The apartment was even bigger then expected and there was no speck of dust to be seen! Even though our stay was in November, so it was off season, probably half of the restaurants, shops and mini markets were still open. You can reach some lovely beaches by car in around 5 min. Sitia is the closest big city and 20 min by car. We would definitely stay there again!

The apartment was tidy, free of clutter and clean. Simple but all the things needed and promised were available. Grateful for the welcoming tray and particularly the offering of Cretan oranges. The host was very prompt in their responses any time we have a question which was very helpful. I had been to a few more airbnb places in the previous days and this was the most comfortable bed I experienced that week. Please note that it is located up the hill so take this into consideration when planning to drive/walk there.
