Omg, what an amazing place! I had the best 2 nights sleep in my life! ( wish I could have stayed longer) You fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed and pillows are really comfy, something that is really important to me, as I’m a light sleeper. Poppi is extremely friendly. When I arrived she had cooked for me! I must have looked really hungry because it was food for about 10 people…. You have absolutely everything in this place, kitchen and bathroom is stocked with everything you need. Thank you - I’ll be back!

We would really recommend Izabela's home for a lot of reasons. We arrived, Izabela greeted us with a smile and kindness. During the stay she was able to be discreet in order to give us privacy but just as present when we needed it. I understand all the comments about Izabela, she is the best host in any country we have had. A real plus for the accommodation which is really very clean, towels, linens… smell very good! The apartment is located not far from the main avenues (5 min walk) but is located in an isolated and quiet place which is very good. Since there were no guests, we were able to stay a little later in the day. Thanks again Izabela!

An Absolutely Perfect Stay – Couldn’t Have Asked for More! I originally booked this Airbnb for just a few days, but it was so wonderful that I ended up staying for an entire month! The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable long-term stay and remote work—thoughtful amenities, reliable Wi-Fi, and a peaceful environment. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking! What truly made this stay special, though, was Manos. He went above and beyond to make me feel at home, offering fantastic local tips and accommodating every request with kindness. He treated me like family—even surprising me with homemade pastries for Easter! If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, stunning views, and genuine hospitality, look no further. 1000% recommended—I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

we spent close to a week in this compact studio apt with the most amazing balcony space. the apt was clean, had everything needed to cook own meals, and although very close to tourist area it was exceptionally quiet. Kate was a great host, immediately available to resolve questions or help. her recommendations were spot on and appreciated. we spent many a happy hour on the beautiful balcony. we highly recommend.

Theodora’s apartment is hidden gem in Agios Nikolaos. During our stay we realized, there is no better location for families with small kids. It’s right next to beach bar with great beach, in our opinion best within the city and there is even kids playground right next to it. You have 6-7 great local restaurants within 5mins walk + 2 grocery shops. Location is very quiet. Apartment is very well equipped with all you need for shorter or even longer stay (we stayed 1month). Theodora was very friendly, responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We can only recommend her and her apartment to anyone who wants to enjoy perfect vacation. Efcharisto Theodora 👍🏻

Really great! A neighborhood that deserves 6 stars. Great view, very quiet, well equipped. Also great starting point for hikes. But the best part is Massimo and Despina. Thank you for your hospitality!

House as described, clean, tidy and strategic as a location to be able to get around the area.

Linda is a very helpful, generous and friendly landlady. Communication was always quick and helpful. The apartment is exactly as described and perfectly located for trips to Heraklion, the Lassithi Plateau or the beach. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation.

The 2nd time we stayed with Christina. We felt very welcome again and at home. Our own cottage just outside the city center, near the beach: easily walkable or by city bus.

Such a beautiful place, we felt we were in paradise. We took our own food so didn’t try the taverna but enjoyed dinner with a beautiful view every night and two nights we lay back a star gazed for hours on the deck chairs. The “almost private “ beach was delightful and we never had anyone there with us, so for us very private …

We spent more than 2 weeks in Aspasia's house and we felt very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean and we found everything we needed. Aspasia even organized a yoga mat for me. Communication with Aspasia went smoothly. The bathroom is not the latest, but you don't notice much of it because there is an outdoor shower. A cat visited us every day, we hope she continues to find food sources We also enjoyed the surroundings very much, often we were right on the beach down in Keratokampos, also partly on foot. But the beaches around are all very nice, mostly pebbles on the shore and sand towards the sea. You could snorkel in quiet weather, in the wind we have the waves. There are also two shops: minimarket, supermarket. In the supermarket, the postcards are brought to the post office on Wednesdays at noon. The restaurants are also very good, we were mostly in the taverna Christina.

Very comfortable two bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the shore with their own access to the water. A lot of good restaurants with in a walking distance.

We loved the stay in Agios - Maria was very nice & flexible. Supermarket, lake, sea and restaurants surrounding the flat and the apartment is very sweet with everything u need for a couple of days in Agios. Nice balcony, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Very thankful for our time here :)

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment right in the heart of Agios Nikolaos. Milena the host is really helpful and great with information. We stayed for a week having had Milena show us the apartment last year, when we stayed in Apartment 3. It was all we hoped for; felt like home from the first night. There are lots of bars and restaurants near by; and also a beautiful sea lounge called Kimzu (20 mins walk away) - we returned to Ag Nik as we loved our time here last year. The apartment and the resort in general is highly recommended!

Everything was very good. Very clean, nice decor (not too much, not too little), well equipped (incl. Washing machine), kitchen very good, with spices and fridge was filled with breakfast items for us. Lots of little hospitable touches. Great location and beautiful views. Nice hosts and tips for restaurants and excursions. There were five of us and we were all very comfortable!

This apartment is truly impressive - spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and very comfortable. The large balcony offers a perfect spot to relax with the sea just metres away. The bathroom has a great shower. During our stay, a few evenings were quite chilly, but the heating function on the AC unit kept us warm and cozy. Apostolis is the perfect host. He contacted us before we left the UK with clear arrival instructions, met us at the apartment, and took the time to show us everything we needed to know. He welcomed us with fruit and wine and was genuinely keen for us to enjoy our stay. When we visited Heraklion, he kindly recommended a great place to eat, and on our second morning, he surprised us with some delicious Greek sweet treats for breakfast. The only slight downside was some noise from the bars below in the bedrooms, though we were still able to sleep. However, waking up to the stunning sea view from the balcony made up for it. Thank you, Apostolis, for a wonderful stay.

The room was nice and big, view from the balcony was really beautiful, pool was great and the location was the best. You can find everything you need in Istro - shops, tavernas, beautiful beaches. We loved it and we can certainly recommend!
