it is a cave from natural rock that at previous years was used as a house by the family in the beginning, and as storage of agricultural products much later. In 2007 after careful renovation and rebuilt, it became a luxurious studio of 60 square metres that can host up to two adults and two children. The studio is complete with dining room, kitchenette, TV and AC. A beautiful balcony reveals the view of Kissamos bay and the mountains that lie in the background. The apartment lies in the village Kaliviani and has a stunning view of Kissamos bay. It is very close to the unique lagoon of Balos and the famous beach of Falasarna. It is located 45 kilometres away from Chania and 55 kilometres from the airport. Kissamos port is just a five minute drive and Falasarna 10 minutes away. Very close to the villa are many smaller beaches. The towels are changed 2 times in a week and we offer upon arrival a welcome basket with local products. Hiring a car is recommended.
“We spent five wonderful nights at Nantia and Kosto's beautiful home and we would have stayed longer! It is set in a stunning location, quiet and peaceful and a minute's walk to some excellent restaurants in a lovely village where people are so friendly. It has to be one of the nicest Airbnbs we have stayed in, so stylish and beautifully decorated, everything you could wish for and many thoughtful touches such as delicious pies left in the oven upon our arrival, wine, honey and all the basic essentials. The bed was so comfortable and how nice to waken to the sounds of nature, the tinkling of goat bells!, and the view from the double doors. Nantia and Kosto were so helpful and informative and gave great tips which formed the basis of our daily trips. It is clear from the comments in their visitor book that they are special people who take pride in what they do. It is the kind of place you'd want to be to truly appreciate life and we will most definitely be planning a return visit ! Efharisto Nantia and Kosto!”

“Words can’t even express how fantastic this stay is. Daniel and his team’s hospitality are world class, even helping us make arrangements around what was closed in the off-season. This gave us exactly what we were looking for; ATV rentals, breakfast in the fridge, a well arranged ride, concierge with a direct line and amazing recommendations, even some of Daniel’s favorite wine! My friend, who is the harshest critic I know, was at a loss of words. I would recommend this to anyone, our perfect one night in Santorini.”

“This is my favorite ever AirBnB. We stayed two weeks which is longer than the usual guest (I'm told) in Oía, but never once wished for less time there. Not only is the location beautiful with a stunning view of the caldera to wake up to each morning, the house itself is very cozy with lots of comfortable space. The showers were fantastic, the kitchen more than enough for a holiday. Giannis is extraordinarily helpful. He helped set up our transfers, our car and our catamaran trip (which, btw, far exceeded our expectations!) and this was extra good because it would have been difficult for us to find the cave house the first time without it, but only because we were not familiar with the village's layout. He responded quickly and thoroughly every time we had questions and even took took the time to call us to check in to see if there was anything else he could do. His associates, Dana and Dimitri, were also incredibly warm and helpful with plenty of suggestions for out-of-the-neighborhood restaurants and beaches. The whole experience with Giannis and Hector Cave House changed our holiday from merely great to amazingly memorable. Thank you, Giannis!”
