Barn accommodation in Greece

Manolis place was just what we needed, beautiful mountain scenery, locally grown vegetables and lots of little villages to visit in the near by surroundings.

We absolutely loved Konaki. It’s such a special and unique place. The history of the building is very cool and it is so relaxing and quaint. Also has all the comforts of modernity despite its age & rustic charm. Artemis was extremely helpful and had great suggestions for hikes and activities. Everyone at Montanema was so wonderful and our stay was absolutely magical! We can’t wait to return.

My husband and I picked this spot for our honeymoon and I’m so glad we did. The property was gorgeous, peaceful, clean, and in the heart of a wonderful little village with friendly people and great tavernas (our favorite was the hope tavern “η ταβέρνα ελπίδα”—this place is the real deal). It was a delight to be greeted by the courtyard cats every time we came back from a long day. The pool wasn’t heated so I didn’t use it while we were there, but my husband really enjoyed jumping in after his runs. I enjoyed a few reading sessions lounging in the hammock by the pool. There is an incredible cove just a 15 minute drive away called Omprogialos—we swam and snorkeled there on the days it was calm, it’s a magical little spot. Even after visiting so many lovely villages, I would choose Gavalochori again. Overall the Airbnb was perfect for us and we couldn’t have chosen a better location. Daisy and Joe were super communicative the whole time—fab hosts! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We spent 10 wonderful days in Haus Olon: quiet location, beautiful outdoor area, magnificent panorama from the terrace, apartment well equipped and lovingly furnished.

Sally's house is an absolutely beautiful & spacious traditional village home! Fully equipped with everything you might need, makes you feel right at home. A very comfortable stay for two people. The cute little terrace/outdoor sitting area is a great bonus! Sally is very friendly & responsive and sent us detailed information well before our arrival. Overall, a great choice for a stay in the area!

Lovely place to relax out of season, imagine it is just as perfect in season. Private pool was lovely, everything we needed for a countryside rest overlooking the Cretan countryside.

A gorgeous and special place to be enjoyed by those who value and appreciate down-to-earth, peaceful and non-touristy surroundings...set in the grounds of a private home/olive farm. A wonderful example of agritourism at it's best with very hospitable & welcoming hosts...and lots of furry friends. The accommodation was beautifully styled and our stay included a fascinating tour of the farm and olive oil production. Great beaches nearby and good local amenities including a winery, fantastic grill house and very good bakery/café. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing! You can walk to several restaurants, cutest little area and away from the crowds. Ten minute walk to Oia. They gave us snacks and drinks. Very responsive. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again!
