We loved staying here for a week! The space is really lovely and homey. Near everything, including the waterfront. We felt comfortable and right at home. Weekends are a bit noisier in Chania, but that is unavoidable in the city center.

At Golden Sea Place we found exactly the peace and relaxation we needed. Very cozy and bright accommodation with stunning views over the bay. Sun loungers on the terrace in the sun or in the shade of an olive tree. At any time you can access a few steps to the private, rocky beach and throw yourself into the clear, turquoise waters. Manolis, the neighbor who takes care of the house on site, took great care of us and was always available. We also loved his dog very much. The neighbors in the surrounding gardens were also all very welcoming. We felt very comfortable. For the driveway from the road to the house, a slightly higher car is highly recommended (as for many roads in the southeast of Crete).

Incredibly great view from the balcony. Alex the cat, who is the property manager, comes by regularly to check on his guests. He likes to paid in treats for his service. Yurga is a funny and helpful person. If you are a light sleeper you should bring earplugs as the fridge makes a lot of noise at night. Otherwise everything was great! Thank you very much!

Well what can I say; we loved our stay in the villa. Pictures don’t do justice to the place. Ocean is literally your backyard and you can easily walk to many local places. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants privacy and wants to have. Private ocean. Would want to come back again to Giorgos place again

Stella was very nice and the apartment was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our stay with Stella. The parking was super convenient. The apartment is a few hundred meters outside of the town center, so the surrounding was very quiet. We highly recommend this accommodation.

I’d come back again and again. If you’re up for a drive through the windy country roads, this is a must stay. It is a gorgeous property, the view is unbelievable, and it had everything you could possibly need plus some. And the hosts went above and beyond. We even were baked a cake! I am already planning my return trip. As far as driving to beaches and things, it was pretty easy and quick. It’s about a 12-15min drive down through the backroads (all paved nicely) and then you’re in kissamos. We daytripped to Chania and Falassarna Beach and Balos with ease. If you don’t mind driving, this place is well worth it!

This Airbnb in Red Beach was absolutely amazing. Mario is an amazing host and when I needed to rent a car, the car rental company was there to drop off a car for me in 10 minutes! Falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing against the shores and the rocks was unforgettable. I cannot wait to visit again, this place is worth every penny and Mario’s hospitality is a 10/10!

We felt super comfortable at the place from day one! Everything is clean and the facility is very nicely designed! Especially the host Helen was a great help with her quick responses and great tips!

We stayed in this beautiful Apartment over Christmas and New Year’s and we had an amazing time!! The hosts were incredibly friendly, kind, and took such great care of us – that really made the trip extra special. The apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location, right by the harbor in the center of Chania. We were three people, and it worked perfectly for us – plenty of space to spend time together but also to have some privacy when needed, which we really appreciated as a family. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Katerina’s. She was very responsive and helpful, and her husband George gave us some great recommendations. The apartment is comfortable and clean, and the view is stunning. We didn’t love taking our rubbish to the on street bins, as we were 5 people in a small car with stinky trash bags and the closest bin is quite a long walk. But we would still recommend and would be happy to stay again.

The place was exactly like the pictures. The view is enchanting. The hosts had lots of helpful tips for the area and good recommendations for restaurants! We will be happy to come back!
