Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Shropshire

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but what a little gem! We will definitely be booking again. It was such a great and unique experience-like camping, but much better! The shed was so cosy and peaceful, we could have sat there all day just listening to the birds. We had everything we needed and loved the little fire pit outside. Showering with a view of the trees was quite a memorable experience too! We walked to Bridgenorth from the shed, which was stunning-through the woods and past some picturesque houses. This is somewhere we will always remember staying.

Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

We absolutely loved our long weekend in the cabins, so peaceful and private with gorgeous across the valley. We particularly enjoyed the hammock on the long sunny evenings! Graham and Pip were very friendly and helpful, giving us local recs and have truly thought of everything - the cabins were well-stocked with everything you could need and were a delightful place to stay. Could not recommend these lovely cabins more for a memorable and characterful stay in the Brecons.

We’ve had an amazing (short) stay at Liz’s place. Liz was so kind upon our arrival and she immediately made us feel very welcome whilst providing the perfect amount of privacy during our stay. The place has been a perfect retreat for us and the fire pit (and the fact that the weather was nice enough so that we were able to actually make use of it) completed our experience. Would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely friendly couple, couldn’t do enough to help. Loved all the small personal touches - fresh eggs and milk, homemade flapjacks, even down to the little sticker on the toilet roll! Would defo recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay 😊

We had a wonderful 2 night stay and just wished it could have been longer! The shepherds hut was really lovely with everything you needed for your stay(shower was better than I had at home!) and the setting in it's own cottage style garden,beside a babbling brook was idyllic! So peaceful and right on the Offa Dyke walking trail, which we did a part off from the hut, which very quickly gave us fabulous views across the area. Our host was great-welcoming us in on arrival and was on hand across the road if needed. Would definitely recommend staying here,we loved it!

Had a fantastic trip to the peak district and made all the more sweet with the eyam hut! Hosts were incredibly friendly and gracious as well great at providing recommendations in the area. A great picnic basket was invited the room when we arrived, including some fantastic homemade jam 👌 bonfires in the evening and early morning really hit the spot! Couldn’t recommend more. Thanks again Rachel for a great birthday trip 🙏

What can we say! Cherry was so very warm and welcoming. The little extras she supplies. The hut is beautiful, and it was so peaceful and pretty. To just sit and hear just the birds bees cows and sheep was just magical. We had 2 bbqs and had the fire pit lit both nights. Saw a beautiful sunset, and was just the most relaxing weekend away we have ever had. We will definitely be booking again.

We had an amazing few days at Vivienne and Chas' place. The Shepherds Hut was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and so relaxing. Vivienne had put lots of thoughtful touches throughout, including those specific to me and my husband. We're super appreciative and the hut is just what we needed - peace and quiet away from everyone! We really enjoyed our outdoor cooking and just sitting looking at the countryside. Thank you so much!!

Thank you so so much for a wonderful weekend. We had the absolute best time. The location, the property, the scenery… words don’t do it justice! To anybody who’s looking for a magical getaway, then I suggest you get this booked ASAP! We will be telling all our friends and family and will 1000% be returning. We had a lovely stay at Alice’s Shepard’s hut, it was perfectly situated and fully secluded. The hut itself was super cosy, the log burner was a great touch - easy to use and warmed the hut up quickly. The bed was super comfy and snug also. Sadly the weather wasn’t fab for us so we couldn’t utilise the outdoor bbq or furniture much however with the right weather I imagine it would’ve been perfect. The hot tub was the star of the show, we found it to be super easy to use & didn’t take too long to warm up once it got going. The hut faced onto fields as far as you could see, with cows in the field opposite making a lovely bonus. The location was great, it was within 30 minutes drive to all major Cotswold villages - all a must see! There was a local pub which sadly we didn’t utilise due to weather and shops a short drive away too. We’d love to return to Alice’s hut, especially with some warmer weather as I imagine the sunset while in the hot tub to be truly breathtaking. Thank you!!

This place is simply amazing, the hut next to the animals and the views are breathtaking. We loved our stay in which we did plan to go out in to stone for the night but as so beautiful we easily decided to stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough…you will not be disappointed. See you again soon.

We had the best break away staying at Sharon's beautiful shepherds hut, the scenery was so beautiful, and it was the perfect place to unwind, our two dogs loved the hut and the enclosed garden, as well as exploring all of the public walkways. Sharon is a wonderful host and you will have the best holiday if you choose this little gem for your stay.

The Shepherd's Hut was amazing. Really comfortable with everything we needed. The views were amazing and it felt incredibly relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Helen & Chris’s shepherds hut! They are the perfect hosts—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. The hut itself is absolutely beautiful, immaculately presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. Set on a quiet country lane with stunning views towards the Malvern Hills, it’s the ideal spot for a peaceful countryside retreat. It truly has everything a couple could want for a relaxing escape. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning in the future!

Lovely stay! So peaceful, no internet connection and time to switch off! Only thing to note is it’s a hot tub without a jacuzzi system.

This was a beautiful place - secluded, unique and just as described. The bed was comfortable and I loved the artistic touches throughout the spaces. I also loved walking by and interacting with all the animals on the farm. Would love to go back!

This has to be one of the loveliest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. It was cosy, clean and came with all the essentials that you’d come to expect at an airbnb but don’t always find. There was a fresh sourdough on the table and pint of milk in the fridge. The surroundings are so beautiful. We’d come back to the hut just for some peace and quiet. Tom, our host, was an absolute gentleman. Was on hand when we needed him and was very responsive. You can see the effort that he puts into the huts and surrounding areas. More Airbnb’s could learn a thing or two from Tom. Thanks for having us!

We stayed here just for the one night as a last minute booking for my partners birthday. We had such a wonderful time and we were really lucky with the weather! Such a lovely view from the hut, the bathroom is a very small walk from the hut but it wasn’t a problem at all, everything was so clean and comfortable. Lots and lots of information for things to do in the surrounding area which if we’d had another day we would have definitely done! Really enjoyed our stay here, cannot wait to visit again and couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you :)
