Barn accommodation in Shropshire

We were 5 adults and an 11 year old staying for 3 nights. The cottage was beautiful - rustic with everything you need. Alice and Louise were very accommodating and friendly. There was a power cut when we arrived but they let us have use of the camper oven for our potatoes. The surroundings are really beautiful. Loads of wildlife, swimming and fishing in river. Great walks.....would definitely stay there again!

Quiet, secluded, peaceful surroundings, spacious & comfortable accommodations. Can see why the Hen House consistently ranks as a top choice & A-bnb favorite. The Hen House has certainly become our favorite. Nicki & Johnny are fabulous hosts, considerate of guests' comfort & privacy. We were able to enjoy the meadow, long walks along the country roads, some fun table tennis, & quiet reading under the shade trees. A favorite time of day was having breakfast at the patio table just outside the door to the hen house, save a day or two, we had great weather for it. Wifi is excellent. Neil works remotely & never had a dropped conference call. There's plenty of games & DVDs for the rainy days; & the house is equipped with all the tools you'll need to keep it clean/tidy. I only wish I knew how to play the piano. I would have played a few tunes. If you enjoy birding, you'll love the birdsong & the birds that visit the garden, glorious. Truly a wonderful place to stay, enjoy & relax. Gracias!

Judith was great, as I had not read that the oven was a small box type. I brought a massive lasagne and I think it was slightly beyond the oven’s capability. After 40 mins when it was still not cooked through, I messaged Judith and she put it in her oven. She knocked later with my steaming hot perfectly cooked lasagne and a smile on her face. She was very helpful.

Graham and Pip’s place is a real gem, the accommodation is gorgeous. In beautiful surroundings, with wonderful wildlife to enjoy, fabulous walks on your doorstep, a place of calm and serenity. So many places to visit are within easy driving reach, whatever your preferred activity there are mountains, canals and rivers to enjoy and there’s no shortage of options for good food. Graham is a lovely host, helpful and welcoming, he makes you feel at home right away. We would love to stay here again.

We loved our home for the week. It proved to be an ideal base to see the Cotswolds. There were shops a couple of miles away and we weren’t far from supermarkets in Evesham. The kitchen was well fitted, we Wanted for nothing. We will definitely recommend this venue to anyone wanting to visit the Cotswolds.

We had a lovely stay. The Annex provided a comfortable and pleasant environment. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. We would happily recommend this Annex to others. There are also extra towels for the hot tub and blankets for the garden. We can highly recommend Emma as a host. She was very helpful, offered us fresh milk for morning coffee, and recommended great places for food, etc. The information book was also very helpful.

We were 2 mums with 3 boys ranging from 2 to 8 yrs old. The cottage was perfect foe us and the boys loved seeing the lambs every day and having chance to bottle feed one of them each evening. There is loads to do with children in the local area and we had a fabulous stay. Our host were extremely helpful during our stay.

A perfect getaway! The Airbnb was very sweet and had gorgeous views. Plenty of great walks to do around the area as well! Overall, a wonderful stay. Stef is the best host!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Lovely stay at Fiona and Richard’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and the barn has everything you need. Fiona was friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful places to visit near by and plenty of walking. We had a very relaxed few days.

What a lovely place to stay. Simon met us on arrival and showed us around also giving us some tips on the local area with Blenheim Palace only an hour away and also Diddly Squat is 30 minutes or so away but was mobbed. Very unexpected welcoming pack of milk, biscuits and croissants were in our accommodation and the bed was so big and comfortable that we slept very well. All in all beautiful place with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Would recommend and if we were back this way would definitely stay here again. Gary & Michelle

Was booked at short notice and absolutely didn’t disappoint. The accommodation was fantastic inside, and just as nice outside. We got a warm welcome from Lucy and then left to our own devices. Highly recommended to anybody wanting a relaxing, private getaway. A big thank you also for the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge and chocolates ect. It’s a nice touch to add to an already lovely place.

Clean, confortable, peaceful and well located. Top scones, especially if you get a Millie bonus. Lisa and Phil grand hosts. Would stay again.

Adele's gite was perfect for my short stay while visiting relatives. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable as far as I was concerned. It had everything I needed including extras in the shower: shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There is only a microwave which was fine as far as I was concerned but there are plenty of places around for eating out all listed out on helpful sheets provided by Adele. One thing, it does take a long time for the water to run hot, I almost gave up ;)

This was our first time using Airbnb and we will definitely be using it again after a wonderful few days at Andrew and Rachel's place in The Cotswolds. Laverton was the perfect, quiet base to explore all the beautiful villages in the area and the 'cosy countryside studio' was exactly that. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely Airbnb with it's equally lovely hosts.

Absolutely gorgeous barn conversion in a stunning, peaceful location with views across fields and a lovely little farm shop on site. Cath was super friendly, warm, helpful and incredibly responsive from the very first point of enquiring. It’s a real gem this place and great value too. Whether you want to just switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet and views or you want to explore Warwick, Stratford and the Cotswolds is a special spot.

Too magical to tell anyone about! But I can't help telling all my friends about the prettiest cottage in the most stunning setting I have just had the absolute pleasure to enjoy. Very dog friendly too - Mango had the best time too I think! Thanks you Lindsay and Mark. We will be back one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda and Richard’s Airbnb! The location was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful — the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, especially with the lovely hamper and bottle of champagne. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings.
