Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Shelter Cove

My trip got cut short, which was unfortunate because I was just feeling like I was settling in! The Avenue of the Giants is a short drive away and everyone in Garberville was so nice! The store below is extremely busy and be sure to pack a wind jacket!

The rocky cliffs waves crashing view is wowzy. The roads to get there are a bit nerve racking if your used to mostly flat roads.

Amazing place to getaway for a relaxing weekend. The home is super cosy with great taste to the interior decor! Well equipped kitchen and bathroom amenities especially the extra towels. Great views! Amazing hosts with so helpful tips of the neighborhood.

clean and spacious, had everything we needed. grocery store, coffee shop, and a couple restaurants within walking distance, with a bunch more restaurants just a 4 minute drive away

This place was better than advertised. We stayed here after hiking the LCT and it was the perfect place to relax post hike. The grounds have so much to offer with the hot tub and creek being our favorites. The house also was absolutely spotless. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! We had an incredible time at Kevin’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. Kevin was incredibly welcoming, providing thoughtful touches like local recommendations and a detailed guidebook to make our trip even better. Communication was seamless and quick, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. You are only about 1 mile from the beach which was an amazing location!

Beautiful views, very peaceful. We could hear elephant seals from the house and see the surf, could not keep windows open due to cold weather. We were able to get most items at the general store and drive near the surf cafe was dotted with houses close to water. Great weekend. Travel during the day to enjoy the drive amidst tall trees and hair pin bends.

This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in. Pictures don’t do it justice! The house and grounds had so much to offer we “stayed in” the entire weekend. Our host was wonderful and we’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy this property even more.

This might be the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, and I have stayed at a lot. If you have a deep love of the redwoods and seek solitude and true peace in nature, you will not find a better place. There are 2 giant redwood trees right next to the home and some lovely outside space to relax in. The location is extremely quiet and private and is literally in the forest. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable with a great heating system for chilly mornings. Pearl was a great host and very helpful and responsive. Thank you!

Shelter Cove is a hidden gem in California & this house is the BEST way to enjoy it. The house is directly on the ocean! The views from the living room, kitchen & my bed room were absolutely spectacular. The house was so clean. The sofas were super comfortable. The downstairs bathroom has a huge tub & the water gets really hot. Multiple beaches within walking distance & lots of sea lions near the lighthouse! Mario's bar & restaurant is also walkable and we met so many kind locals there who told us a lot about Shelter Cove. We saw deer grazing the grass all over town everyday. There's even a shower in the garage you can use after going to the ocean before entering the house. The host's were so kind to leave us a complimentary bottle of local wine & a nice note for us upon entering the house. We had such a great stay here and will definitely be coming back in the future. We were so lucky to find this place. Thanks Todd for letting us stay at your beautiful home!
