Situated on a steep hill above the Derwent Valley, it’s a short drive or good walk to Chatsworth and Bakewell and Matlock. Nestled on the edge of Beeley Moor Copy Wood sits below woodland and is surrounded by fields grazed by sheep. A short walk down brings to Rowsley village. Broomhead shepherd’s hut is situated in the beautiful and ancient Broomhead estate in a hidden away corner of the Peak District National Park. It is a really special spot flanked by miles of heather clad moorland. A spell in the hut will be a wonderful respite from the hectic modern world. Come down the winding tree-lined drive, past the pond and over the stream and you will find yourself in a real rural idyll.
