Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

Marie and Tim are very nice people great hosts very kind and helpful Marie gave us good recommendations the quest house was lovely we felt right at home we had a wonderful Easter few days exploring Buxton, Bakewell and other places I really recommend staying at this guest house we will definitely stay again in the future xxxx

Sharon accommodated us very last minute & made us feel very welcome throughout our 5 day stay. The accommodation is quite small, but the location is really lovely, on the edge of the Peak District. Lots of walks and lovely pubs nearby.

We had a lovely stay and this location was exactly what we were looking for. It’s secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We were even able to complete a magnificent walk up Kinder Scout directly from the cottage without getting in the car. This was a perfect holiday for our small family including two young children ages six and four. We would happily visit here again!

Great place! We were in Wakefield for an event at the Hepworth and this was super convenient (within walking distance). Andrew was super responsive and met us when we arrived and when we were leaving.

We spent a few days at The Annex over the new year period. The weather was shocking but we got a lovely warm welcome from Greg and the place was cosy and inviting. The location is perfect; it's so peaceful yet you can pop along to the village shop in a couple of minutes and there are friendly pubs to walk to. Holmfirth is just a five minute drive away. The Annex is a great place to stay and Greg and Mandy are right there if you need anything whilst respecting your privacy and leaving you to it. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Great hosts and an amazing property. A beautiful location with great views over the village. The scullery had everything we needed and was a beautiful place to stay. Peter and Emma were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home and provided great advice. We had a great welcome and had an amazing stay. We highly recommend staying at the scullery and would come back here again.

Went for a peaceful break with a friend to explore the peaks and the accommodation did not disappoint we cooked both nights with than enough to do so. Such clever use of space with everything needed to explore. You do need a vehicle but such a great space to feel at home with everything needed. Many thanks

Donna’s place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, scenic location. Donna is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful! On arrival at the cottage there’s nothing she hasn’t got covered and is only a message away if there’s anything you need! We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time! This space was exactly what we were after for a long weekend in the Peak District. The place was beautifully decorated, had every amenity we needed in the kitchen and bathroom (including jams, honey, oats), and Justin provided us with the most thorough and detailed welcome pack we'd seen. Also, SO grateful for blackout curtains and LOVED the hammock and swinging chair to relax in the sun at the end of the day. Thanks so much Justin, would definitely recommend 😊

Had an absolutely lovely stay. The cottage was incredibly clean and cozy. We had a few lovely nights where we chose to watch tv and not go out at all! The cottage was very well stocked and we felt right at home. Linens were spotless and there was great water pressure and heat. The hosts were very sweet and caring. Could not recommend this cozy place enough.

A beautiful property in the most peaceful of locations - being in the garden, surrounded by countryside and the sound of birds tweeting brought the tranquility that we needed. The property itself was perfect, it had everything we needed and suited its surroundings perfectly. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the en-suites were a great addition! The upstairs showers were insane! The lemon drizzle cake (my mum’s favourite) and the doggy supplies were a lovely touch from Matt - snuggling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and sweet treats was the icing on the cake.

Just had a fabulous weekend at Courtyard Cottage. The accommodation was even better than expected, and the location is absolutely stunning. All mod cons and a very well equipped kitchen, plus the little welcome items was a great touch! We throughly enjoyed the outdoor Japanese whirlpool bath which was much needed after a good walk. We hope to come back soon but definitely for a longer stay.

Great place in great location, our dogs had a lovely time time running around the paddock with the owners dogs and we really enjoyed the wood fired hot tub! Adrian is a top man, really great to chat to and have a bit of friendly Yorkshire banter. Will visit again for sure!

We have just left from a lovely 2 night stay, it’s a beautiful quirky place. A great place for an adult weekend away! The decor is fantastic, the bar area and games room is brilliant, lovely area, relaxing garden and views! Hot tub was lovely! Cosy cinema room and lots of information on nearby places to visit etc! We was so lucky with the weather too which made it even better! But the place in general was just brilliant! We would definitely stay again! Daniel was quick as responding to any questions. Thank you for a lovely stay! ☺️

The loveliest of hosts. Rachel was very friendly and very helpful, leaving a postcard with kind words and recommendations and a small gift basket. The bnb was very cosy and spotless, and dare I say better than the photos. We were even welcomed with a sign which reassured us that we were at the right place. The location was perfect with a 10 min drive to Castleton and 20-30 mins to other places like Bakewell, Buxton and Sheffield. All amenities needed were provided, the shower temperature and pressure were of no issue, providing a great morning shower. It was nice just waking up and leaving to see (and hear) the sheep (even though they stare a little 😂). I can’t fault the place, and couldn’t recommend anymore. 6/5 stars. My only comment would be that we found it a little difficult to find at first and actually stumbled on it by accident. Thank you very much!
