So whilst the area is quite rural it is conveniently situated between Leeds and Manchester and only 10 minutes from the M62. During your stay regardless of your group size you will never be sharing with strangers as we only host guests in the same group.There is also ample secure gated parking on the drive.

We are just 6 miles from Chatsworth House so ideally situated for attending their events, Haddon Hall is 4 miles away. Our Bed & Breakfast overlooks the Lathkill Dale, a lovely nature reserve with walks to both Monyash and Youlgrave. We offer a friendly personal service and aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Elton Guest House Family Suite

Elton Guest House is a former farm house lovingly restored by the current owner. Close to Matlock and Bakewell and attractions such as Chatsworth House. The grounds feature ample parking in our cobbled courtyard and an old lamp post and water pump on the frontage. The family suite consists of two bedrooms, one large bed sitter with a double and twin beds and a separate twin room and en suite bathroom. Breakfast is included in the price. Sherwood Forest and Sherwood pines mountain bike trail are less than 10 mins drive, with lots of nice walks in the vicinity. Easy on street parking and a relaxed homely feel.
