We booked Ann’s place to relax and reset after a busy few months. It was everything that we had hoped for. The place has beautiful views and is light and bright. We love to cook and Ann’s kitchen has everything you need to cook a beautiful meal. There is a fantastic selection of CD’s, DVD’s and books which we made use of. The house has such a homely feel with comfy couches for lounging. What a gorgeous place, we absolutely loved it.

What a lovely home to stay at! The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s a really fabulous place with beautiful surroundings. We loved the decor and could tell a lot of time and thought had gone into making this Airbnb. The balcony overlooks the beach and if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. In terms of location, there isn’t much within walking distance however we were well aware of this before booking. However, what is great about this place, it is a good middle point for tourist destinations such as Hobart, Port Arthur or even if you wanted to travel up the East coast. Would highly recommend staying here, we had a great time. Thanks for letting us stay!

The overall house was amazing. Very clean and equipped. Peaceful environment. Wake up to a beautiful scenery. Lisa was very responsive. Just 6 min to nearest gas station or supermarket. Definitely recommend!

Aerie retreat is a perfect little piece of nature- stunning views, private, peaceful and romantic. The house is cosy and well stocked to cook meals. The hot tub and deck are gorgeous, even in the rain. We saw seals, in the channel, and wallabies and possums on the property. The stairs to the water are steep but worth exploring. The tinderbox forest walk is fantastic and nearby Blackmans Bay is also charming. Would return in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful place to stay both the property and location. Mary is a superb host to boot. The place literally has everything you need, is super cosy and has the most epic views. Mary is an absolute legend, helpful and quick to respond. Wish we could have stayed longer.

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Nick and Georgi were exceptional hosts, responsive, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with throughout our stay. The house itself was a perfect space for our group of friends. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully equipped for a larger group, it offered everything we needed and more. From the stunning views to the comfortable communal areas with heated floors, every detail contributed to a truly memorable experience. The generous touch of fresh bread and wine on arrival made it feel extra special. The indoor pool and sauna were a standout feature and an absolute highlight of our winter getaway, everyone loved it. I honestly can’t recommend this home highly enough. A truly outstanding stay.

This was luxury, it really was. 10 out of 5 stars. From the little personal touches like homemade jams, a stocked fridge and a coffee machine, to beautiful bed linen and a bathroom to die for - I have mobility issues and the shower and bathroom were a dream for me. Beautiful historic neighbourhood, close to everything and even getting out of Hobart for the day. Some excellent restaurants within walking distance and we still couldn’t fit it all in the week we were there. Michelle is lovely, very quick to respond and very very helpful. We also had the option of a flexible late checkout which was very welcome on the day. She also gave us total space and privacy, and was there if we needed her. I cannot rate this highly enough, we will absolutely return here and I would definitely recommend Michelle’s place to anyone travelling to Hobart for the first time and also wanting to revisit old haunts. Check out the meringues at Daci and Daci and all that glorious Tassie ice cream!

We had a great stay. Hosts were very responsive and welcomed us with delicious soup and other treats after a long trip. Place was spotless and cozy. Easy to get to CBD and other places. Highly recommend and would stay here again! Thanks!!!

Phenomenal views, a beautiful home, we felt very comfortable. So many details thought of to make you feel at home.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful with a lovely vintage charm and a gorgeous garden, with a basketball hoop that my son loved. It’s in a perfect location, close to everything we needed, woolies 4 min away. The kids absolutely loved the toys in the living room (a lot of variety), which kept them entertained throughout our stay. The central heating kept the house warm and cozy, which was a big plus. It was also so convenient to have a cot and a highchair ready for our baby — it made everything so much easier. The hosts were very nice and helpful — when we messaged about the Wi-Fi, they came straight away to check it and make sure we had internet. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely come back

Beautiful views and lovely backyard. Nicely laid out and very spacious home. Only reason for giving a four for cleanliness is due to the condition of the kitchen frying pans and some of the appliances not being clean. However, not a big deal and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Bends House is STUNNING. We had a wonderful stay- a privilege to stay in such a beautifully put together mid-century home. The heater was on when we arrived and the morning sun is incredibly warm… We’ll be back ❤️

Wow! This place was definitely amazing. We finished our honeymoon staying here and it exceeded our expectations. From the stunning views to the amazing amenities, we were stunned (in a good way) with the amount of things to do here! Both nights we opted to get some takeaway from amazing local restaurants just so we could spend more time in the house with all the amenities. It's extremely clean, has everything you need and even things to keep the fun - pool table, ping pong table and the spa were a definite fave! Thanks again! We will definitely be coming back.
