Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Pietro Island

Deborah’s place feels like a home. It is not a sterile business Airbnb like I have become used to. She greets you at the house and makes an effort to help you settle in. The house has everything you could need- cold water on arrival, coffee, pantry staples, laundry detergent and even a first aid kit. We loved lounging by the pool and we felt comfortable to take a rest after many weeks of hectic travel. It was just what we needed. One of my favourite things is that the only sound you hear apart from the odd local car, is a plane, it’s so peaceful and quiet.

We spent a week with Vittorio and Daniela in St. Antioco in June 2025. We felt like at home from the beginning. In addition to the personal, very friendly welcome by the two and a comprehensive presentation of the house, wine, a fantastic "tomato bread" and a personal "welcome" were already available for us. From the beginning, we had support and tips for the area, excursions, restaurants, ... The house is furnished with incredible attention to detail, at the same time the two have thought of all the practical things that make the stay pleasant. Even a cooler bag for the picnic on the go is available 🙂 We got to know Daniela and Vittorio as very warm people and will be happy to come back anytime. Thank you! Grazie!

We had a beautiful restful stay at this charming part of Sardinia. So peaceful and the surrounding countryside was stunning. We woke up to beautiful wall to wall blue sky and watched the sun set every night. A very special part of the world . A special thank you to Carlo, who stayed up for a late checkin. A very sweet and kind man. We didn’t want for anything but if we did, we knew he would have been on hand to help. Thank you Carlo.

Elisa welcomed us in a very friendly way and showed us the great house on the outskirts of the city. The house is nicely restored and has a huge garden with grapes, apples, pomegranates, figs, lemons and Italian herbs. Everything was available in the house, bed linen, kitchen with basic amenities and many nice little things for the household. We had plenty of space and peace as the nearest neighbors 200m away weekend. It is outstanding for a family. There were four of us with a dog. In addition, Elisa gave us a lot of tips for the area and also recommended a great restaurant. There are many supermarkets in the area and many excursion options. You come to the house via a dirt road, which is relatively narrow. The gate is opened via a remote control. We didn't want to leave at all and would keep coming back. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Matteo went out of his way to help us with everything needed for our stay. This unit had the best views from the balcony and was just a walk away to any restaurant or attraction in this town. We loved our stay and appreciate the host very much!

We found an idyllic house in nature and not far from the beach is isolinas. The surroundings are also simply fantastic... for relaxation and tranquility with great sunsets. The furnishings are made with a lot of style and love. Everything available for kitchen and bathroom. Everything great and very clean. The most beautiful accommodation in Sardinia for us. Will be back for sure. Paola was very nice and helpful and accessible. Thank you very much, dear Paola.

Nice stay with spectacular views and nice pool. Also can do some little hikes to the hills next by. Nice beaches in close driving distance.

House equipped with all the comforts, well equipped, in a very quiet area a 6-minute drive from Carloforte and a 10-15 minute drive from the most beautiful beaches. It would be nice to predict the availability of a BBQ in the future. Unique flaw: the delay in check-in due to previous occupants

Beautiful and stylish accommodation. The house had everything you could want or need for a home away from home. Exceptional attention to detail and exceptional cleanliness. Lovely welcome hamper, including a delicious cake!! which was appreciated after a long day travelling. Great location with spectacular views from the roof top terrace. Easy access to a lovely beach. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Eugenia's apartment. It was the perfect base for us to unwind and relax after a long day exploring all that Sardinia has to offer. It's very conveniently located, super close proximity to the shops and town, without being too loud. The apartment has everything you would need for your stay. Angela and his wife have built a wonderful place! The photos don’t do justice to this nugget of paradise. You won’t want to go anywhere else and just enjoy the place.

We had a great stay. Loved the location, the terrace and view is just fabulous, parking easy and around the corner. Only slight negative is the water pressure in the shower is not so good, but can’t complain. I would return.

The house was super clean and the views were incredible. It was nice to eat on the terrace. You can see the Island of San Pietro and Sant Antonio from the balcony. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable and nice. We went with our 2-year-old daughter and we were very comfortable, they also provided a cot and a high chair for her. We also really enjoyed the barbecue. It is a quiet town ideal for resting. It has a small but very pleasant market. It's a great starting point for exploring the southwest of the island by car. The ferry port to go to the island of San Pietro is very close to the house. We are very happy and would repeat!

Enrico and his mother are two very friendly and hospitable patrons. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and independently, in a very quiet area. If I needed to come back, I would definitely choose to stay with them again. I highly suggest this Airbnb. I usually never do reviews, but I really felt at home with them.

Few words other than WOW. The ever changing view of the sea & sky - sat and watched it for hours. Comfortable beds. Clean kitchen and bathroom. Friendly host. Could not have asked for anything more. Spent time exploring the local area and the two islands - and of course the local restaurants. Our first visit to Sardinia - it will not be our last and I will most certainly see if Fabio's place is available for the next time.

I can only fully recommend La Casetta di Anna. Often the photos don't match reality... well, in this case the accommodation is much more beautiful than it looks in the photos! Cozy cottage, perfectly air-conditioned, equipped with everything you need and don't need, very clean in every way. Although it is a "house" you can move around very well, the spaces are not at all restricted. Perfect accommodation... not to mention Sabina. Very sweet owner, available to agree on a check-in time, attentive to guests and to ensure maximum services. We were really happy with everything. This house is a love... I don't know how else to describe it!

Perfect stay! Chiara is a very helpful host and always ready to respond immediately to any request. The apartment is in an ideal location, a stone's throw from the sea, which makes everything even more comfortable and enjoyable. The furnishings are carefully designed in perfect "sea house" style, welcoming and relaxing. It was really like feeling at home. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was exactly as described—very clean, nicely decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. I highly recommend renting a car if you want to explore the area—there’s so much to see, and having your own transport makes it easy to get around. Marina and Enrico were incredibly kind and helpful, always available if we needed anything, and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again—highly recommended!

After two weeks of travelling in 3 big cities we were exhausted and needed some rest and quiet. Tony's place was perfect. It is quiet, private and has everything you need. There is supermarket just a few kilometres along the main road, back toward town driving there. The kitchen is perfectly equipped to prepare homecooked meals. It is easy to drive to some picture perfect quiet beaches perfect for swimming and with only few people to share it with you. Also, a lovely drive to Calasetta through picturesque countryside. The beach has a lot of kelp along it but it does NOT smell at all and is a pleasant easy walk. The uninterrupted views and calm waters are fantastic. Towards the back of the house are hills and green countryside. We loved our stay. We loved the reconnection with nature.

We had a great stay at Angelo and Giovanna's apartment!! The apartment is nicely decorated, with a great large terrace. From there you have a fantastic view of the evening sunsets. From the apartment you can quickly reach the beach and the area where the apartment is located is also beautiful. The contact with Angelo and Giovanna was great. They always responded very quickly and were super accommodating. The only thing we missed were a few kitchen items (there is no stove, only a single hotplate, bowls) But for the few days it was fine.

Francesca's apartment is very bright, clean and equipped with every amenity. We stayed in winter and it turned out to be warm and comfortable despite the eternal low temperatures. It is in a convenient location, not far from areas where you can park for free.

We spent a week in Calasetta in total relaxation. The house is newly built and with all the necessary amenities. The silence of the area is incredible. The possibility of waking up in the morning is having breakfast on the terrace is priceless. I would recommend everyone to spend at least a few more days because when the weather is okay, it flies! We had a great time at Annalisa's house. A home in a beautiful location. In the upper part of the village, a stone's throw from the tower, 200 meters from the beach of Sottotorre. In a very quiet area but very close to the main square of the town and all the amenities. Renovated house, very clean, very well furnished and equipped with all amenities. Very quiet also thanks to Venetian blinds and anti-noise fixtures. Beach equipment is also available. Annalisa leaves nothing to chance and manages with great attention and care. She welcomed us and provided us with all the information for the beaches, local and surrounding tourist activities, events, services, restaurants and businesses. We cannot wait to return! We felt at home :-).
